when they rereleased the ps2 I got one new. i have 2 of them, the new one is sitting in it's box ready to replace the old one when it dies, the xbox had better graphics and a huge hard drive but not nearly as many good games on it lol.

@chriss179 the xbox has better hardware, slightly better graphics and textures but not nearly as many good games as the ps2 had, I've owned both systems and like them both but the ps2 has more good games it is a fact .Even today it is almost the same but worse. the 360 is an awesome system but almost all the titles are first person shooters or first person "rpgs". The ps3 has way more variety. The 360 also scratches it's own discs.

@1787dude What a troll, the xbox original had a beast spec compared to a shitty ps2 specs, the only reason it didnt die was because Sony pushed for it to, i bet if they didnt try developers would abandon the ps2 right away, to many bottlenecks. xbox 360 has a huge veriety of games and classics, better backwards compatibility than ps3.

the original xbox was a way better system than the ps2 but the ps2 had better games. all the xbox had was some really good lucas arts games. the xbox 360's are junk they all die within a year or 2, they all have an overheating problem. the xbox 360 library is not very diverse and you have to pay for xbox live it's retarted. I did the smart thing, I got a ps3 and sold my 360 before it burnt out.
