You people are idiots. It's not all about points. Crosby and Ovechkin have started to develop into two way players, but they are not even close to the level Datsyuk is. When he's averaging over a point per game, leading the league in takeaways, winning the Selke almost every year, and staying quite healthy considering his willingness to battle, it's really not even a question. Dats loves his soccer and he usually goes out in the hallways or outside the back of the rink (when I saw him in AZ) to play a kind of pick-up game with Flips, similar to HORSE (basketball). When he cracked on Flips in this interview is was hilarious to him because he OWNS Valteri in that game. Kind of an inside joke for him. His accent is charming. He speaks quickly and likes to wisecrack. Considering his talent, it's obvious he puts more time into working on his skills than his diction. A++

@ImKoolWithThis Points are good yes, but they really don't say anything about overall ability. Datsyuk ranks at the top of the league in takeaways pretty much every year. For Datsyuk to be so good defensively as well as post 70+ points a season, that's pretty impressive. Crosby's good but he needs to get back on defense. Far too often you see him just chilling at the red line. I would take Datsyuk over Crosby any day.

Try learning Russian and you'll understand why it's so hard to pick up English as a Russian. Not only that, but you probably would end up in the same position as Dastyuk were the tables turned.

I speak Czech also, which is one of the hardest, and there are so many more complicated things that you wouldn't even think of because they don't exist in English, such as declensions. Obviously no language is "easy" to learn. You say some words might mean 10 different things, that's in every language. Hard part in other languages is grammar and so many different tenses etc. English grammar= relatively easy
