  • @ mansoorn at 5:00 IS IT "MAY NAY BHI SOCHA JAB WO JAWAN JAHAN NARAHE TOU YEH ADHER KA RAHAYGEE" OR UDHER KYA LAY GEE? BECAUSE TO ME IT CLEARLY SOUNDS THAT HE MISTAKENLY READ ADHER AS UDHER.

  • @aasifbaloch

He didn't make a mistake, the word is ادھیڑ which is often used as "ادھیڑ عمر" and means middle-aged. What he read makes perfect sense to me, I'm not sure what word you mean by "Adher" rather than "Udher."

"میں نے بھی سوچا جب وہ جوان جہان نہ رہی تو یہ ادھیڑ کیا رہے گی."

Tip: You can use google transliteration (search it on google), you can type in Urdu and it will convert it to Urdu script, that's what I did above. You can click on each converted word to choose from alternatives.

  • @optimistsRUS Thats what I am saying "adher" with zabar on alif rather than pesh on alif. Ahdher=half aged. udher= kind of to torn, for e.g. "may is udher bun mey tha k yaka yak darwaze pe dastak hue". or "bakhiyay udher diyay"

  • It's really good. very appropriate sentence.

  • @makhdoomalam ziaa muhuddin is punjabi as well mujra culture is not punjabi culture

  • @makhdoomalam

Lollywood's doesn't represent Lahore or Karachi. The vulgarity in Punjabi stage dramas does not represent Lahore or Punjab either. Urdu is a beautiful language and has its own taste. Punjabi is a beautiful language as well and it has its own taste, some Punjabi words/phrases cannot be translated. We can enjoy both without having to choose between the two, or if you don't understand Punjabi or don't like Punjabi language that is also fine but Mujra doesn't represent Punjabi culture.
