  • Hi~!

where did you get that hand powered pump? Also is it strong enough to make ice?

  • Great video, thanks for the upload.

  • mash arrow keys while vid plays to play yt game

(hint: control with arrow keys or #pad pick up flashing dots)

    enjoy das stig

  • Where did you get the pump from?

Are there plans on how to make?

I'm trying to create a new type of manual food freeze dryer and need the vacuum to remove moisture.

    Thanks in advance. Great video!

  • when you release the pump and the pressure becomes normal in the flask, does the water temperature stay hot or does it drop immediately @_@

  • @dpsrush water doesn't get hot. It's temperature stays the same all time. If the air pressure decreases the water's boiling point also decreases.

  • @coolphysicsvideos But if the water isn't hot, does this method have any effect once the pressure is back to normal?

  • What is the psig vacuum to make the water boil?

  • its boiling but its not hot because you just use pressure to make the water boil

  • How long before all the oxygen is depleted? Did you oxygenate the water prior to this project? How many cranks did you have to crank? I am working on a scuba project. Is there any difference between fresh and salt water? I know lots of q's. Thanks for the video. 5 stars

  • what type of pump did you use? i'd like to purchase one and try it out. pretty neat. thanks for posting.
