  • Someone please answer this, is the Zagg Invisible Shield waterproof?

  • you call that a warranty???

these guys ripped me off and there damn good at it.

i paid 40 dollars for a shield that lasted about 3 days, and in order to get a new replacement theres credit card charges and mailing charges, and all around a huge hastle!!

believe me, if you want to no tbe ripped off dont buy this shield for your iphone 4!

you can get 2 for 15 dollars at apple store and there better than this crap fromn zagg… beacause they stay on!!!

    thanks alot zagg, for nothing

  • they wanted 15 dollars to ship the new shield to me! that thing weighs about 3 grams! theres no way the cost of shipping is taht much, which means there most likely pocketing the rest. plus another 15 dollars for a total of 30, they wantedto authorize my credit card for.. this is on top of teh 40 i already paid for this ONE shield… which lasted a few days beofre it started to peel around teh edges!!!

thats not much of a WARRANTY id it?

  • Lol it looks like he busted a nut in his pants while the guy was talking

He's also staring at the other dude in a weird way.

Ive honestly replayed that moment at 1:52 so many times, its hilarious

  • AHAHAHHA 4 in the morning and i cracked up at 1:52

Thats the gayest face I've ever seen, when he throws his head back and his eyes pop out

  • That guy got pranked into keying an iPhone for no reason.

  • DO NOT GET THIS!

  • The one I had on my Samsung Moment fine, but the phone crapped out. This time I registered it for my HTC Evo (free lifetime replacement); however, it's starting to peal. :/ Maybe the person @ Best Buy installed it improperly.

  • I AVE JUST ONE QUESTION do they ship to the UK :)? dumb question but i realy wanna get this tbh lol

  • you can buy a case of cheaper replacement shields that work just fine, and will last you longer and be cheaper

  • zaag sucks lifetime garantee my bad spelling butt it is. over twenty bucks for a peice of plastic, well i bit on the lifetime guarentee. lasted a few months, but if you use your phone or even keep it in your pocket the heat will gradually thin and stretch the plastic. then you try and replace the inferior product, and they charge you to ship you a new one, charge you to ship them the old one, which is fifty percent more money spent on trash, then they also want a credit card. DON T BUY

  • @TheBlastoed1 "Heat" from your pocket "will gradually thin and stretch the plastic"? Are you kidding? How "hot" does it get in your pocket moron?

I've had my Invisishield on my phone for a year... crazy thing: it's still on my device. AND--it hasn't stretched (how the f-k do you stretch it if it is essentially stuck to the device?) It may have thinned, I guess... technically. I don't know. But it's not like it wears so thin from use. Or "heat". GTFOOH newb

  • Um what if i want to remove my battery or sim??? lool

  • OMG SUPER GAY LOOK AT HIS FACE AT 2:07 lol mmm dicks lol

  • press 1:45 for guy on right to try to poke guy on lefts vagina and the guy on right nodds no

  • I want one for my car!!!!

  • The pitch here is that this is technology that was developed by the Army. Actually Army buys from the lowest bidder. LOL

  • they should make some for floors cause my mom gets crazy when she sees a scratch on her floor

  • Time to hit puberty?

  • joke fail at 1:45

  • @doubleotaco yeah man, that was a pretty epic joke fail

  • At the beginning when he says 'yeah, you bet.' he sounds like kermit the frog! I wouldn't buy anything that guy made. He probably developed it while living in sheltered housing.

  • hey cool, when I use any other case my iphone can't get scratched either....this is just stupid......sigh...next thing you know it rips.

  • its fucking shit doesnt even fit the fucking ipod. and if u try and put a case on it some cases wont be able to put on cause when u put it on it pulls the screen off. and now its just fucking irritating

    Other than that its good.

  • I love Zagg! Put their shields on everything I own! I have a shield on my ipod classic, iphone, macbook, aluminum macbook remote, and my nano. I've done over 30 installs and it is really easy, but it is very, very time consuming. Takes me about 25 minutes for an iphone and 45 minutes for a macbook....overall it is worth it to me at least!

  • @snakedoc1306 That's a lot of mney you've blown on all your electronic gadgets. Not saying the product doesn't work... but basically every electronic you buy has a premium on it ($25, 30 on top of the purchase price).

  • if its sticky wouldnt that mean ur finger wont slide across the screen as easily

  • @cdambati I would describe it as "grippy" not sticky, "rubbery like" feel; it's like laminating your phone.

  • Its like a condom, for your electronics....

  • P.S. I would recommend the product to protect your device, but I can also see replacing it every 6 months or so. Therefore, I feel it is WAY OVERPRICED FOR THE CLAIMS MADE HERE BY ZAGG! Also, I'm curious how hard it is to remove. Haven't tried that yet.

  • @KingMeezer

He just said they would replace it if it ever peeled or scratched...

  • @Bluheim2030 True.... but I would have to pay S&H to return the defected product and S&H for the replacement product, which would mark up just as easily.... so I settled for the fact that this is only a "protective" shield to keep my phone from scratching.

  • I got this product for my phone. It does protect your device, HOWEVER, THE PRODUCT ITSELF DOES SCRATCH AND MARK UP!! So the demonstration with the key is VERY MISLEADING... THE PRODUCT DOES SCRATCH AND SHOW MARKS. I called Zagg after 2 days of having the product with my complaint, and they denied saying that the product does not scratch. Um, hello?!

  • lol old iphone.

  • this is a shit product, first off its somewhat costly at $15. second, the process takes a shitload of time and every time i have done it there were air bubbles everywhere. third, when i was doing it im guessing some leaked into my iphone and now my brightness doesnt work and it is permanatly stuck at the lowest brightness possible. lastly, to replace the product is supossivly free, but you have to pay for shipping!

  • You obviously failed. I put it on 3 phones and a camera with no problems.

  • @widowmaker777 Yes, I agree... it was very easy to apply and no air bubbles.

  • Fouskales FTW

  • I got one on my Nokia E71 since the start of the last semester and I have to say so far so good, I even dropped it once

  • replaced for free? then how about you dont charge shipping. fuck you zagg

  • I got this shield, installed it on nokia 5800, started with the back, was perfect, then the front...not that good...i did it 3 days ago..still some bubbles exist..

  • You need patience and careful hands.

Or a friend with those to do it for you.

Once its on right and has a week or two to dry its perfect lifetime protection.

  • Don't waste your money! First, it is a bitch to put on. And when you finally have it on, it ruined my device where I had to send it back to the manufacture to replace the LCD screen. It's not worth the time and money.

  • Some places put it on for you.

  • NOT worth it. Its only good cuz its scratch proof and very thin. Id rather get clear cover case+USB charger+lcd screen protector+car charger=$11

  • omfg all thats $11!?!?!?

  • theres alot on ebay

  • @donkeywafflez

Its is only good cuz its schratch proof and very thin'.

    HELLO! WAKE UP!

That's exactly what they need to do!

  • overrated product

  • Bought it at best buy today, returned it a couple hours later.

You have to be a fucking pro to put that shit on.

  • Yeah, I taught so at first! But I didnt realize that you had to take muuuch more spray on! It works perfectly now!

  • I have a lot of patience and that stuff made me wanna burn it!

  • u should sell at like best buy and tech stores

  • Ok I like the product! But I warn you it is a bitch to put on! Fuck only buy this if you are 100% sure you will get it on right!

  • sell it in wal mart

  • Ok I wouldn't say shit but it's good

  • Wow I got this for my palm pre yesterday and so far there are a shitload of micro bubble, the grip is OK pretty good it will have for me to get used to, and I actually did te key to pre test and not a scratch at all. So I would say get this if ur a clean freak like me but other than that this thing is a piece of shit

  • yeah.. I got this thing like 2 days ago. thought it was pretty good, until my phone fell out of my case and landed on my desk which put a giant whole in the invisible sheild. so yeah.. for 20 bucks just for the front, its not worth it at all.

  • If you damage it, they will send you a new one for free.

  • you made me lol bro

  • 24.95 for a tiny peice of plastic? fuck that

  • this thing sucks i couldnt even see my ipod screen, and it ripped when i took it off

  • Cause its not meant to be taken off, only when you're gonna throw it out.

  • my blackberry tour full-body invisibleshield went on nicely... had a few smaller bubbles after i applied it, but they went away after a day or so... definately recommend it

  • @denni2579

Thanks for the code, saved four bucks.

  • They ONLY replace it if you buy it from THEIR website, NOT a retail store. Also, the replacement policy is complex and questionable. According to their website, you have to give them your credit card number and they send you a new one, but if they don't get yours in the mail back (at your expense) you get charged the whole amount on your credit card instead of just the "shipping and handling" (which it doesn't tell you what it is). I simply threw mine out - it doesn't go on clear.

  • thats shit works

  • heh, the guy owns a lexus

  • PJ dude looks like he really wants the sales guy

    .. Very hot =P

  • i bought it for 14.37 (including S&H) with 50% off

  • hes a fuckin liar i bought it for $38.50

  • Lol you got ripped off, not him lying.

  • aww.. pooor you.. I got a 20% discount as well by adding the coupon code 'youmobile'

  • That guy tried to explain sumthing with the key n the host dude dint care... Lol.... Has any1 tried this shield? I want to get 1, but im too skeptical bout applying it properly on the phone.

  • it sucks there was bubbles all over my ipods screen and it got damaged so i threw it away didnt know they replaced it

  • thats y u use the squige to get rid of the bubbles

  • and i did used the squige but bubbles never came off

  • There is something called squidge to simply squeeze the bubbles out.

  • that guy sounded like a bitch.

  • @youngmaine4884 "hahahaha"

  • $24.95? What a rip-off.

  • umm no

  • mxf7010g8k: ZAGG Invisible Shield is HARMFUL to your electronics. When you install it with that liquid, it drips down into the microphone on your phone or into the buttons and damages your item.

I'd rather have some minor scuffs on the outside of my electronics than internal damage caused by that liquid.

  • if ur a fucking retard and dont know how to work it than possible its not like your pouring a gallon of water on there either. i have it on my ipod 120 gb and its the best case/cover ive had.

  • mxf7010g8k: I read someone's PROFESSIONAL review on it, and he said that the squeegee will force the liquid down into that little microphone hole and damage your phone.

He also said that the ZAGG Shield has the texture of an orange peel.

The ZAGG Shield is like that hideous clear plastic that people used to put on their cloth furniture in the 80s.

  • lol i read that same review before i bought it but it was plain wrong. when squeegee u are supposed to go away from any openings. the orange peel thing is not true

the amount of texture is very little.i was also worried it would be sticky but now that i have it on its the best.and if it was sticky it will go away within a week

  • that spray stuff is like a quick dry substance, like alcohol, anyways its not harmful unless you soo clumsy and dumb to try to spill the stuff in the phone, on the videos, they spray that crap all up on the phone and im like wtf!??

  • then hold the phone upside down stupid

  • When u turn your cell phone off, and start installing the IS, doesn't the special spray liquid get in the little holes between the cell-phone buttos and speakers???

I'll really appreciate if IS techniques could up load a video showing how to put the IS in a Sony Ericsson W760, it a Slide phone,(i think its more tricky to put the IS in these phones) so .....ill wait for a soon answer

  • i like the idea for watches.. mine always scratched

  • if you live in Henderson, NV. you could get someone to do it for you in the Galleria Mall at Sunset.

  • lol i just did that today

  • In the Philippines, it's called G-MASK

  • Lol that was random and cool philippines ftw! lmao the g mask

  • Just Got it on my LG vu, great product.

  • It could be possible that all of you people complaining about this product have either never tried it, or you were impatient during installation. Of course some losers just like to poke fun anonymously. I am currently using Zagg's invisible shield on 7 different electronic devices and it is the best protection out there. Bottom line: it is not magic and if you want a nice looking installation, take your time and follow the instructions.

  • wilys

  • Contrary to popular belief, the Invisible Shield doesn't protect anything from drops, only scratches. And for some reason Zagg keeps telling people to buy their product instead of a case. If I drop my iPhone 3G, sure it won't be scratched but it will have a hell of a crack in the plastic. For me it makes since for my computer to have one but not my phone.

  • What on earth is the point of protecting a computer from scratches?

  • well u see, if the screen is scratched that means it just doesnt look as nice. plus y wouldnt u spent a few bucks to ensure that ur thousand-dollar laptop is scratch-free? with sum of the new glossy laptops coming out its well worth protecting the outside

  • i agree my bro has a laptop and the top is a chrome black and it is covered with scratches

  • maybe the screen but u dnt need it on the back unless u r ocd

  • do they make condoms

  • rofl :P

  • LOL

  • @jdilla77 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Aren´t regular condoms strong enough for you? XD

  • do they do this for the nano 4g ipod?

  • yea

  • the dude sounds gay ahaha

i hav a full body for my samsung rant yay lol jk

  • i bet that reportes breath stank

  • they should use that for condoms.. =o

  • rofl

  • Yeah... except this material is permeable by gas and stuff (that's how the spray eventually evaporates), so I'm sure tiny sperm could get through! This is the same reason Saran wrap cannot work either.

Also... not sure how cool it'd be to have to spray your girlfriend before fooling around, haha.

  • lol you dont know what your talking about, its not spray on its tape like so it dosent evaporate...

  • haha totally

  • from inside coating or outside? haha

  • its great i just got a blackberry, works well!

  • (Sorry for the poor english)

First: what a stupid reporter!!! Doesn't he realise that's the future of all gadgets covers?!

Second, and most important: where can I get one of this superb cover from my N95?!?!

  • can i get it for mi ipod touch

  • yep

  • lol when the guy was like "see its pretty tight" the other guy was like"i like that" lol

  • LOLOLOLOLOL I crapped my pants laughing, u owe me a levis jeans!

  • lol hahahaha..... soz im too porr for levis.... lol jk

  • the guy on the left looks like the guy from scrubs!

  • The hell are you smoking...the guy in "everyone loves raymond" looks like zach braff...

  • the liquid went into my iphone speaker nothing seemed to happen to it

  • yes u have to. it sort of "activates" the adhesiveness of the film.

  • i just installed mine. its so easy and effective i love the invisible shield

  • On your iPhone? Was it difficult to install it?

  • i installed it with ease. i recommend u get it

  • you guys r fucking stupid the shield is to protect your phone from the scratches, thats why its lifetime warranty because once it gets scratched u can get another one. If u ddnt have the shield ur phone would have the scratch, so shut up abt the shield getting scratches thats what its suppose to do! saves ur phone!

  • DO NOT buy from this company, they will cheat you, i have waited 19 days for my order to come but it hasn't i asked for a refund but will not give me one till they "find my lost order" they will not cross ship me another order. and expect me to place another order to recieve my package in a timely fashion. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

  • i'm pretty sure you don't actually work for zagg if you did you should not use foul language when addressing customers. also for what an employee's supervisor said was that zagg policy will not offer a refund or cross ship until a lost package is located by the shipper. in this case took 8 business days to find. and no i still have not gotten a refund. but the did offer to ship me another order with standard 5 day shipping as a "favor" but wait i paid for 2nd day air. so yeah zagg is screwed up

  • DO NOT buy from this company, they will cheat you, i have waited 19 days for my order to come but it hasn't i asked for a refund but will not give me one till they "find my lost order" they will not cross ship me another order. and expect me to place another order to recieve my package in a timely fashion. • ok he says "Scratch Proof" doesnt mean it IS SCRATCH PROOF...BULLET PROOF VESTS are NOT bulletproof... same with BULLET PROOF Glass ect

  • A lifetime warranty does not excuse false advertising, you bag of AIDS. Also, the 3G kit fails to protect the edges of the phone, which happen to be the first thing that hits the fucking ground!

    Thanks Zagg.

  • *To the fags complaining that theirs is cratched*

It has a lifetime warranty so if it gets scratched they replace it. Quit bitching.

  • One more thing... when there is a scratch on the material, it magnifies the surrounding pixels and creates a very noticeable and annoying effect.

  • I purchased a full body Zagg for my iPhone 3G and while it does a tremendous job protecting the phone itself, the material is definitely NOT scratch proof. The very first time I put the phone in my pocket I got three vertical scratches on the face of my iPhone. THREE MINUTES IN MY POCKET AND IT WAS SCRATCHED.

I am 100% happy with the protection Zagg provides, but the real selling point was the fact that the material itself is scratch proof. That is not the case!

  • The lines you saw were a part of the shied im pretty sure they are a result of the manufacturing process

  • if you were to drop your phone, would it still dent?

  • duh...its made to protect the phone from SCRATCHING not from total destruction...who cares if the protector gets scratched as long as the phone doesnt..besides..if it does just call zagg...LIFETIME WARRANTY

  • @Sp3rSa1 Yes, I agree... BUT the video demonstration here promotes that INVISIBLE SHIELD DOES NOT SCRATCH, which is not true... so IMO, this part of the product promotion should be stopped. I called Zagg after mine scratched and got the reply "We never advertised the product would not scratch," contrary to this video posted. I just want ppl to know what their buying.

  • @KingMeezer so this dont work? it scratch anyways?

  • i tried to scratch with a needle and it left an ugly mark on my ipod screen and the image pixelates around it. don't know how this could happen to a 'scratch proof' film but it did

  • is this anti glare?

  • invisible shield my car

  • i got one for my phone! i love watching the scrathes fade lol but it DOES scratch if u really try my uncle's psp is still scratch free!

  • i know a use for it.

    a condom!

  • yup, it could also do away with some unwanted hairs!

  • haha, thats a good idea XD

  • also it will never bust

  • Cool, I need it for my laptop too, ermm I jsut got mine today from the mail, Im waiting till i get my ipod touch on feb 2nd, my birthdayyy

  • Wow.. that is great... the possibilities of this protected shiled is unlimited.
