The Cherokees construction takes the load and distributes it throughout the body, which is all one welded piece. but with a regular body/frame construction, the frame is made to take all the load, so when it goes topside the load is placed on the body, which unlike the Cherokee was not designed to be load bearing.

@Lansa1 Thats just it. The cherokee is really not a jeep. The wrangler is a true jeep. It can do pretty much whatever any other car off road can do, but at a heavy price. Weak U-Bolts, Tie Rods, Ball Joints, Horrible V-6 Design. I love Jeeps, but there are far superior choices to the cherokee for its design flaws that make it not a durable and dependable vehicle off road.

The Cherokees construction takes the load and distributes it throughout the body, which is all one welded piece. but with a regular body/frame construction, the frame is made to take all the load, so when it goes topside the load is placed on the body, which unlike the Cherokee was not designed to be load bearing.

Did anyone stop to think that maybe its not about if a cherokee is better than a blazer? Maybe its the fact of the driver? Even if you drive a blazer with all the ups on the market doesnt mean you can do anything on a trail. Or in this case, a stack of concrete pipes.

@Lansa1 Thats just it. The cherokee is really not a jeep. The wrangler is a true jeep. It can do pretty much whatever any other car off road can do, but at a heavy price. Weak U-Bolts, Tie Rods, Ball Joints, Horrible V-6 Design. I love Jeeps, but there are far superior choices to the cherokee for its design flaws that make it not a durable and dependable vehicle off road.

@Lansa1 You clearly do not own a blazer or know anything about the blazer. Watch the other videos on here. They can do everything a cherokee or other off road vehicle can with proper modification just like the jeeps. A stock jeep and stock blazer can do the same. Dont believe me? Look at the videos! If you knew anything about off road anyway, most of the skill involved is with the driver.

The Blazer was actually used in the military alongside the hummer in the 80's and still see's service today. The cherokee is good and so is the blazer. The blazer is just sturdier. Look online! @Lansa1 first of all guy not all vehicles have actual frames such as cherokees the body supports the whole thing and last time i checked sheet metal isn't as strong as a steel frame. also learn how to spell and learn your facts the 4.0l is torque'y but other than that its useless which is why a lot of guys put a CHEVY 350 in it. also cherokees have had really bad safety ratings till a few years ago such as fuel tank explosions

@durakingdiesel I have heard of some explosions on GRAND Cherokee's, not Cherokee's altogether, and the 4 liter engine does more torque therefore more power to the tires which creates a better off-road vehicle, and 1st off, noooobody uses a Jeep Grand Cherokee to do shit, so yes the 97% would be for the Grand Cherokee,

@durakingdiesel (continued..) also have you actually ever seen a Cherokee flip, if that is sheet metal then they are using some fucking Kryptonite, because when they flip and roll back over they look as though nothing had happened, and you can't say that for most off-road vehicles, and another thing, the only mistake in the vehicle industry was making the Hummer public and people mistook it for an a.t.v. when the thing can barely go through a puddle in the road without getting stuck.

@BL80488 - Jeeps are lighter than Blazer's so the don't get stuck as often, where as a Blazer might as well go under the category with the Hummer at, "Is that a puddle of water ahead, we best go around it. No shit it isn't as sturdy as a Blazer, but Blazer's cannot do all of the stuff a Jeep can due to the fact that its less wide.
