nice fish. good fight on light gear i bet. i have fished for pike all my life and once saw a friend of mine hook and land a 20lb pike while fishing for carp.... reeling in his float gear at the end of the day, the pike attacked his bread flake that was spinning on the way in.

I have heard the scottish pike are way more aggressive and can have twice as many teeth than anywhere else on earth, something im yet to experience.....

It was an 8g droppen (copper and red) and I was on 6lb line fishing for brown trout. Most Pike fishermen leave comments asking why I took so long to land it and why the big deal. Well, its some going on a 6ft spinning rod and light tackle with no trace.

Play a pike till its on its fuckin side, beach the big fucker gently then put yer hand under the gill cover, get a fuckin good hold of the jaw bone!
