I have a f5d7230-4 G router and use a HP Pavilion laptop upgraded to windows 7 ultimate. It will connect from laptop to "unidentified" - "router" and not connect from there to the interned in wifi. Cable works. wifi worked in xp pro. This problems goes back to Vista. And I've tried about everything except throw it against the wall.
This router is a joke you will have all sorts of problems with it and if you play xbox 360 or another console dont even waste your time trying to fix it because it cant be believe me i have tried enough.
okay today i hooked it up (with no problems before until now) everything will come up except internet icon. then everytime i put the CD in to regester it it goes to the end and tells me that physical connection may not be good enuf. and i have comcast btw
I am problems with my belkin n150 I got it today and hooked it up all the right ways but the moden flashes amber while there no internet shown what am I doing wrong
Ok,well, you may have a internet setup issue between Router/Modem, go to the link located under the "suscribe" button, (click on "more info" first), if this doesn't work, log into your router & clone the MAC Address, watch the "Accessing the router setup screen" and click on "Mac Address" , click on "Clone Mac Address" & on Apply Changes & that should fix your problem, if not, you have 1 year of warranty to replace your router at no cost, i have the replacement website on my channel, good luck!

Who's your ISP,(Comcast,Embarq,AT&T,etc)? or rather what type of connection does your mom have? Dynamic or PPPoE?
You can get that info from the ISP
