woah. these guys played at the opening of guitar center. i didnt know who they were but yeah. i got my first distortion pedal and a free t shirt. these guys remind me of that time.
These people are really good. I agree, they really need more recognition. The guy who was going to teach me guitar is really good friends with the drummer and guitarist. He was going to let us go to the concert -for free- and we would've met the band and had front row seats and everything, but my parents wouldn't let me because it was on a school night. :/
Hey if anyone can help me out ... what is the first riff he plays, what song is it from? It sounds very familiar but I can't remember. Thanks! (the one at 0:10)
I'm so happy for the guys. I've known about them since '04 (back when they weren't opening for some of the biggest names in hair metal) and somehow I always new they'd make it. I've been trying to campaign for them in the midwest, but since I can't get out much it's been slow going.
I thought that the original guitar part made up for the keys, and the harder rock version was a welcome change to the original arrangement, which has been done to death.
i really liked the tone of the singer's voice -- just couldn't hear it the whole time -- he has that growl that i think is necessary to sing Journey well.... cool

these guys are so underrated. It's kinda sad when a band with hardly any recognition is one of my favorite bands.
