hi. cribbar is amazing. it only happens every a few times a year. i live near it and it never gets boring. all the people who r slagging it off try and surf it!
"Britain is divided into four parts whereof one is inhabited by Englishmen, the other by Scots, the third by Welshmen and the fourth by CORNISH peoples" - Polydore Vergil, 1546. Cornwall is neither English nor part of England. See thisisnotengland dot yookay and cornishnotenglish dot yookay
Not that complicated really. Cornwall is the only so called English county with some people who have never considered themselves English, has its own laws which differ from England - according to the Kilbrandon Commission which was set up by the government in the 1970s, and has its own self-determination movement.
However your friend seems to think Cornwall is English - despite centuries of history, and the feelings of many Cornish.
"I suspect a fair bits happened since Polydore Virgil 1546. "
Yes. But many Cornish still do not consider themselves English, and the laws remain. If I didn't post that, you'd probably claim this was some recent invention.
Love it!! those waves are huge and im still novice to surfing so ill wait a while, will deffo take a look the next time I come down to Cornwall. You guys are great!!
yeah, the day this was filmed it was just like overhead at little fistral it breaks like this on a regular basis on a spring low we was just waited for a day with light winds and a big spring low and thats what we got.
same here, even when it is not clean surf it is a great sight whether you are watching it from the Headland, or sitting in the line up at North / Little Fistral.

You'd do more favours for the English cause if you could actually spell their language properly. You can't be English, because you can't speak it. ;)

Fair enough... Just wasn't sure if you were referring to 1801, 1603, or the Welsh one, which happened at around the same time.

hell yeah, i don't consider myself english, and i hate it when all the emmits come down to newquay in the summer. grrrr crowding up all OUR breaks.
