  • Hey creator of video, do you know where I could order an STG-007 online??? I've looked everywhere and can't find the STG-007.

  • @WolfySnackrib666 Hi, I bought mine on Ebay. Right at the moment it looks like there are none available on Ebay but there are some other STG models like 008 you might wanna check out.

  • Thanks for the posting. I am looking into getting a FAT strat and this one sounds sweet. plus floyd rose lic trem. Much better bang for your buck than a Squier..Nice sound.

  • @jcsPHD This guitar is really nice and it was only 250 U.S. dollars. I didn't want to buy a mexican Fender with a Floyd because I've had one mexican (with a normal strat trem) and the guitar felt quite poor. The tremolo arm also broke from the helix. But no problems with this guitar. I have guitars like five times as expensive as this one but still this is the one I like to play!

  • @Kitarasti Thanks for getting back to me. I''ve done some research and his strat type is the best bang for your buck. Users claim better quality than most Fenders. Do you recommend the 008 (dual humbucker with coil tap) or 007 HSS configuration like yours ?? Im getting it for 235 inc shipping

  • @jcsPHD That's a tough question for me. I've never played a dual humbucker guitar with coil taps. But I chose 007 because I wanted more like a classic Fender kind of sound. I'm also glad that it has a humbucker (which also has a coil tap). I should have used all the mics in the video but this was just random playing. Oh, and I don't like how all the metal parts, knobs and everything is black on 008... but of course that doesn't effect the sound. Buying either one is a great decision anyway :)

  • Great Playing and Sound! What amp, pedal and other gear did you use? What mic, mic preamp, software and other things did you use when recording?

  • @LilNiceWolf Thank you! I plugged my guitar straight into my sound card (Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro) and I used this software called Guitar Rig 4. I used one of the presets and recorded in the software. So it's pretty simple!

  • @Kitarasti Thanks for the info! It's amazing how computers can replace a whole rig of traditional gear!

  • @LilNiceWolf It sure is! This kind of thing is great at home especially if you don't have the money or space for good real gear. But if or when your're doing gigs you need to have the real deal.

  • @Kitarasti You're right!
