  • @PresbyterGeorge Hi, father. I was just wondering what is the significance of baptism? I consider myself a Christian-Catholic but was never baptized or confirmed as a child. Will it strengthen my relationship with God?

  • @crissilovesyouxo - a BIG topic. First, our Lord was Baptized by St. John, and His final commandment to the Apostles was to Baptize all the nations. Baptism is our death to sin and the beginning of our spiritual and literal resurrection. We cannot partake of Christ without first humbling ourselves through Baptism.

  • God is not proud because what He says about himself is true.

God is not envious because He warns us about false gods of our imaginations.

God does not punish those who do not believe in Him, but those who fight against reality make their own punishment.

God commands us to share with the poor and love our neighbor, and offer Him the sacrifice of acknowledgement for what He has given all of us.

  • Great lecture!! Thank you George!!

  • Thank you so much for explaining that so well. I didn't realize until now that all of these vices stem from FEAR which stems from a lack of faith in God.
