lol Can see the Miyazaki influence in plain sight. Nemo's character design reminds me of a character from Miyazaki films, the plane and dirigible models in Nemo's room (Miyazaki's trademark was his passion for aircraft) and now we have an actual dirigible which reminds me of the one from Kiki's delivery service. lol gotta luv Miyazaki.

i couldn't find a decent picture online - but a friend of mine has a huge hardcover book of the original comics, and it makes the transition apparent. the "5 o'clock shadow" was originally the huge, white lips that you see with "black face". do a google images search of "little nemo comics" and you'll see what i mean.
