  • omg! wow! you made STEAM!!!!

  • the question is.. how quickly can you heat water and how many watts do you use.

if you are getting any positive heat values from the arc then it should heat up the water faster than without water .

  • Please please use and insulator, a pencil is a very bad idea. An MOT coupled with it's resonant cap can provide 4kV @ upto 500mA. If you catch one from this you are at best going to be burned deeply but most likely killed.

    Have fun but play safe.

  • that looks safe.

  • You can't be too complacent when it comes to electricity. That pencil's 'lead' Is a conductor and the wood will easily conduct electricity at those voltages. I would use a plastic object like pvc pipe with a metallic object on the end instead, to keep you out of the circuit.

  • good now ur next step is to put this in a car ; )

  • just a miniature scale of what coastal/marine lightning does when it strikes water, although i would be rather careful of using newer pennies, as they are copper plated zinc, and zinc in its purest white powder form is highly explosive/reactive.

  • The big Oil corporations are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common ppl.

We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating ur own electricity now.

  • You seem to be confusing burning with shorting out a circuit. When the reaction is smaller it is more evident that it is just a simple short circuit.

  • @itsdonenow thanks

  • lol look at tht redneck rig thts hillarious

  • @silentcheese24 what makes it redneck?

  • @silentcheese24 what kind of redneck is smart enough to use electricity?

  • @kenizzyny ahh, what a "sweet" guy.

  • you should remoove the timing circut

it is more fun witout it

    and a second thing

a mod makes sparks 20 cm big

why would you limet it to small spark

  • OK! next thing is a 50K GM coil and a 3000 PSI injector mist

  • Whats the beeping?

  • "instead of using a spark plug, im gona use these peeeenies"

    tehehehehe that made me giggle

  • southern swag

  • you got me there for a while, haha , isn't it just an OVERKILLED ELECTROLYSIS . ... as hho is produced , it simultanously get zapped by the current from which sparks are produced by the marks of led from your pencil that generates arching !!! nice try but be careful !

  • pencil not too smart, thats like holding a half coated piece of metal haha the center is solid graphite. resistive yes, but still a microwave xfmr produces enough to bight. wood can also become conductive at high enough voltage. (why lightning strikes trees)

  • Had to 'find that out the hard way :)

Aprieciate the concern, wish youcould had got at me sooner

  • if you got bit, be happy your alive. MOT's are unforgiving mother's. and can kill very easily.

  • thats funny cuz i was just about to say "either you know something i dont or your just damn fearless cuz i know i sure as hell wouldnt be stickin a wet wooden stick between a gap like that..." but then again, no pain no gain right?

be safe crob, the world needs people like you, dont go zappin yourself. and btw, you definitely have water burning there so good job, the only thing im wondering is how much energy does it take?

  • i also noticed the pencil, i'd never do that. also for lightning strikes i'm sure the conductivity comes from water content. it's this rapid water evaporation that causes the trees to explode when hit

  • and as fur as an accurate measurement of power...lets not fool ourselves....it would be the dc amps that feed the invertor times 13.8 volts or so that feed it so as to not get yourself all crazy in power lies cuz of reading average volts and then feeding it peak volts and then amps of complex waves read as average as well . but the dc fed to invertor...now thats the truth of power...good luck and well done very informative

  • "lets not fool ourselves"

"not to get yourself all crazy in power lies"

i appreiciate the comments but i had never mentioned anything about the current.

  • "by removing the plastic from the anode, "which is made of 18gauge copper wire" " you mean you skinned back 2 wires and set them inside a jar sort of resting close to surface so you could limit the current since it is resistance made by water gap and skinned wires?

  • thanks for the clear up. you sound smart your page should be full of this stuff.

  • naw no page yet. not nuff capital to buy some transformers and i have thrown away all kinds mot and coil wires found in tv's and oil burner igniters and auto coils and old stereos. didnt know i could have shown the world that soft blue corona arcing and added pond fogger and hho. all i got is 1000 volt 4 step power pulser and it dont beat faradays findings and i am xtremey discouraged and cash strapped but will have the gig prevail one day

  • looks just like lightning..suppose if you acted out the methodof lightning and resonate at the sweet spot you would have perfection to then proceed making a diesel injector adapted to pass water through it ...just a thought as i am looking at gotoluc for advice on how important sweet spot resonance is, all in it for cheap world wide power source.

  • Can you measure the voltage between the pennies without the risk of damaging voltmeter? Also I'd like to know the amperage between the coins, that would tell us what Wattage we need for this effect to happen. Excellent work crob, as always!

  • im not sure of voltage or wattage, all i can say is it was a 650watt inverter with a dead 12v thats where all thebeepeing was coming from. thanks for the comment

  • 650W / 12V = 54.16A

But, you have that jar thingie as a resistor, so I can't calculate amperage between the coins :) because there's amperage drop across that jar.

  • Thanks for the help, maybe i will order that oscilloscope and get some real measurements

  • a cheap voltmeter would suffice. the cheapest clamp-on type atleast.

  • isn't the P=I(V) formula used with 120vdc (AC through a rectifier)? He is using a DC to AC converter. + a regular car inverter can't take 54 amps, it would implode. So 650w=I(120) -> I = 5.417 amps.

  • He is ? I didn't notice that :D

Then it's not so much amperage, I guess.

  • Nice fire spark! Try putting a none polorized cap in series and see if you get a bigger intense spark flame and for god sake be careful.

  • yea it was more aggravating than funny at the time, the battery was running low, but the same can be done with house current

  • ya but not many people wanna screw with house current when experimenting lol

  • dont blame them there. it takes some getting used to.

  • dont blame who? i was repling to your reply to my message

  • i think your pissin off you inverter, or your batterys low... either way its sorta funny-bbbzzzzzzt,beeeeeeeeep......bbbzzzzzzt,beeeeep
