I love choice of your music... I wish that korean can understand the meaning of song... Yeah.......... No looks kinda like Katie prints with the war and army issue... love... Anna.
Beautiful, Grace. You are something else, and a touching memorial for your mother. It is an honor to have this as part of A BOOK ABOUT DEATH at the Emily Harvey Foundation Gallery. Best, Matthew Rose
OMG...I'am so sorry about your mother. I recently lost my mother to cancer. I was there and tended to her needs in her home. It's amazing how all hospice patients look so similar. She also had the injection point on the right side of her chest. It's so hard to watch as they become a former shell of who they were. I have to say this. If you dont burn the pictures and the drawings you're only going to prolong your healing. Be blessed my friend.
Will you draw a picture of your mother at her most beautiful - young, vibrant and smiling and place it somewhere? for us to see. for her? After all, that's what she is now.
Accurate. People are like flowers in this way. The depth and breadth of the experience changes people. It is powerful. Thanks for capturing it for us.
That's a heavy piece, Grace, maybe too heavy for me at this moment. Hard to be objective and critical for me right now. I recently went through a similar experience and I did not have had my wits about me enough to create more than a tear-stained Pollock knock-off on a Kleenex, so I applaud you for your stamina, composure and self-awareness.
In this age of special effects and sensory bombardment, it is wonderful to see how expressive it still is to simply sketch. Graupepillard drawings are exceptional.
Your art is beautiful, and so was your Mother it may sound strange for a stranger to say but she was very captivating to Me.
Beautiful.

Thank you. I am so sorry as well for your loss. Our mother's hold on us is more penetrating than we realize when they are alive.
Take care.
