@walliice change the EVs for attack to Sp attack since typhlosion has high Sp attack and low attack, take advantage of the high Sp Atk, i don't know why you would want extrasensory i don't see how that would be beneficial at all same for focus blast, focus blast would only help him protect against rock types, extrasensory would only come in handy if he is fighting a fighting type with ground rock or water type moves otherwise it's useless so i would rethink everything on that pokemon

@rzamora1000 if you are goingto set up sunny day in gen five drought ninetales is better, if not that then sunny day on another pokemon because Typhlosion is not meant to take hits, if not on a sunny team solar beam cam easily be replaced by HP grass at base 70 because it will do more damage, Eq is ok for coverage but his atk stat is not the greatest id either go Extrasensory or Focus blast.

@TurtleNautilOcelot typhlosion would be better since he has a higher sp atk stat and nintales isn't meant to take hits either, i know his attacks not that great but i said earthquake because he can't learn earth power and it's earthquake is power 100 so that's about the best he can learn to counter fire types, why would you go with those attacks they don't help out at all focus blast would just take care of rock types but still leaves water and ground, and what if you come up against a fire type

@TurtleNautilOcelot with flash fire? solarbeam will be not very effective extrasensory and focus blast will be regularly effective whatever fire type he knows won't do anything, true earthquake is physical but it's the best he's got when it comes to fighting fire with fire, it's better than nothing

how come ppl dont think of using a mixed typhlosion? it has the same stats as charizard so it would work out. i have one with fire blast, hp grass, thunderpunch and earthquake. it catches a lot of ppl of guard in NU and UU because they always expect scarf or specs. plus its not 4x weak to rock.

cool moveset,i was planning to add focus blast to my typhlosion but seeing that it has a somewhat 50/50 accuracy rating ,i decided to give it a more fire-based moveset:

@SponTavious you're damn right. Typhlosion doesn't must to cover all Pokemons in the earth. Your team has 5 other members, not just Typhlosion. It's important to have this in mind when you use a sweeper with so many limitations as Typhlosion... But if you give it the support it needs, and you clear the battle from the pokemons that wall its moves, Typhlosion is going to be a beast in late game
