this guy doesnt know what hes talking about. probally out of buisness. lol.
The popularity of fluorocarbon is largely due to these lines being invisible to fish. Unlike nylon, fluorocarbon refracts light nearly identically to water. In addition, fluorocarbon lines are fast sinking due to higher density. Since fluorocarbons do not absorb water, they also maintain their original strength and abrasion resistance
@randomvidsbykevin i go there too!! I have only cought one fish there, which is a shad.. You should use 10lbs mono because it looks dirty, but actually, where you cast, more away from shore is pretty clear. What do you use as bait to get catfish? Or trout, or whatever else it has? Thanks. I used nightcrawlers and got a shad.
and fish at irvine lake.the water there is preaty muddy and i go for catfish next to trees.i use 6 and 8lb monofilement.now the cat bite hard and keep breaking off.should i go with 10lb mono or 10lb braided?
YES!!!!!!!! its my favorite...they invented it and its been around for years...but its expensive..but worth it..i usually go 2.5x test line weight..just a rule of thumb so got taught me...
@joshsk8rdouglas The question is what do you think about P-Line? I would use P-Line over any line, now Cajun Line is good aswell. But im not on the red scene. Sure you know your line to use now since its been over 10mon now you asked that question. Try P-Line if you havent, it is good.
@TheScoobyRS I know you weren't asking me, but, in my opinion, P-Line is some of the worst line I have used because copolymer is easily broken and has too much memory. Try Sufix and Seaguar lines, you will not be disappointed.
@hornet579 I don't understand what does in fishing terms low and high memory fishing lines mean? I'm little bit off with the "fishing English" :), sorry for that
@techwar77 Look up fishing line memory, it's basically how easily the line takes shape of whatever you put it on, like a reel.. If a line has high memory, that's bad, if low, that's good. High memory lessens the distance of your casts, and often causes backlashes.

your info bar thing is wrong, you said mono is less visible but in real life floro is less visble than mono
dontsnipemebacon 7 months ago
Fact: No fluorocarbon line is 100% invisible underwater, so why pay 5 times as much for something that's just a bit less visible???? that's stupid.
