Is it 2 different kinds of paint? And what material u use to bland it al at the end, and why doesnt it stick to the guitar when u lift it from the bucket again? serious chemics goin on here;)
I am not sure what you mean, but to do the swirl you have to sand the lacquer and the color from the guitar body. Do not sand all the way to the bare wood! Don't make that mistake, keep the factory filler! Just the lacquer and the top color. Paint the body in white, watch for all unleved areas, use 400 grit sand paper, add some more color if you need to make the surface of the body look flat and leveled. Then prepare your bucket and swirl. After a week clearcoat the body...
Do you have any videos of your attempts? I would like to see how you did it, but most probably you don't have enaugh borax in the water, that makes your paint spread slowly so it dries on the surface of the water too soon.
Seems like my paint sticks to what I'm stirring with every time. I'm using the borax & keeping the Temp about 78 degrees. everything just clumps together. What am I doing wrong?
very cool .. bratm

@vladedonevic How did you swirl the headstock? did you sand that or just swirl over the finish and gloss that was already on it?
BARTCORExxx 8 months ago
@BARTCORExxx You have to sand the finish, then use white primer, fluo green spray, then swirl, and at the end the lacquer...

@vladedonevic
gora1n 9 months ago
@gora1n
