I do not know this man Roland Burris but he has held a real job so he way more qualified than president elect bo. My only worry is that he was picked by a democrat and every single one of them are proven crooks. Any politician should be drug tested have their bank accounts watched and be put on a lie detector tests for the sake of national security. Why should a working class man have to piss in a cup and these crack heads sellout our country.

Although I don't agree with any of Blago's appointments, the governor has full discretion on appointing Senate replacements, and the only thing that can be done is vote for an expulsion of that senator via 2/3 vote. However, wait until Blago is out before expelling his appointment.

If an expulsion vote occurs, this would be the 16th time. The 15 times that the expulsions happened were on grounds of treason (one in 1797, and fourteen in 1861-1862).

How is it that law makers like Harry Reid, who live in a country that embraces the principal of "innocent until proven guilty" can ignore the presumption of innocence in this particular case?
Doesn't it seem ironic that the very people who are responsible for making the law, are choosing to ignore one of the basic principals of law?
Am I the only one who finds this ironic?
Perhaps "innocent till proven guilty" has gone the way of privacy rights, and freedom of speech in the U.S.

Here in Texas we had the Gov. fly to the Builderburg meeting on the public funds. All the heads of the local (san antonio) water district just flew to Spain for a secret meeting with public funds.
Their all corrupt...everywhere.....its time to wipe the slate clean and start over....WITH OUR CONSTITUTION AS OUR GUIDE.
Interperate this however you want...just DO SOMETHING!

The Rod is a great guy, huh? Spends $6000 of taxpayer money flying back and forth from Chicago to Springfield over the course of a week because he doesn't want to stay in the Governor's quarters. He's caught at home during work hours, logging in only 3 hours a day at the office while lecturing people, telling them they need to work 8 hours a day, 5 days/week. Then he appoints a new senator and has Bobby Rush preach to us that there's no African Americans in the Senate. Rod needs to be executed.
