"All That Remains" are very much like this guys i think. Atleast check them out. Its also old Soilwork and Terror 2000. (Terror 2000 has the best lyrics if you listen to theire last album) My reccomend list for this type of music:

The "wannabe" mosh pits are something called hardcore dancing (fighting invisible ninjas). This was established in hardcore rather than scene music.

Yeah, scenes can be annoying sometimes, but if you learn to put your differences aside, like I did, scenes are very enjoyable people. They choose not to listen to metal, even when they know it not true metal, and I respect that.

I didn't really dig the punk/hardcore sound until I got this album... lots of variation, some songs are nice and progressive. My favorite metal band, hands down, beats the shit out of everybody else and urinates in their faces, then mushroom stamps for good measure. Listening to the solos makes my fingers bleed :D
