As for all Russian girls being smokers, I think that is probably untrue. As excited as that makes me (I should travel to Russia! ;D) it is not at all similar to the US. Almost no one smokes here anymore because it is demonized. All the while alcohol remains totally socially acceptable. Pretty fucking idiotic if you ask me.

Yes, emancipation means: women began all to smoke to be "equal" with men, coz it's the simpliest way. I am for technical progress WITHOUT social. Social progress is nothing other than return to stone age - without morality, without hierarchy - backward to promiscuity and anarchy.

Also all the girls in Russia/Ukraine are SMOKERS at least since perestroika, although in old good times smoking girl in Russia was oddity.
