thank you for keeping improvisation alive! good taste in guitars too!I hope im not being annoying, but i have a youtube channel which has solo guitar improvisations on my yamaha guitalele guitar. it would honour me if you watched one of my videos.
They are good for blues and fingerpicking no probs. You could use them for anything really but they are quite loud if you play them hard especially with normal to heavy gauge strings.
Nice playing. I like the tone of the guitar, am seriously thinking about getting a Blue Ridge. I'm currently bidding on one on E-Bay. Are you happy with the guitar?
Hi, I checked out some of your vids. Nice work. The Blueridge is good for finger picking so I don't think you'd have any problems with it. They have a deep tone to them and are great for Bluegrass and flatpicking, anything that requires a loud acoustic. I got mine off ebay too. ;)
Just an update, I won a bid on a BR 163, put up a couple of new vids , it's a great guitar! If it weren't for You Tube and players like you, never would've known about Blueridge. Keep on pickin'...
Hi, thanks for the comment. I like loads of artists, lots of alternative rock in the beginning like Nirvana (unplugged) and Pixies. My favourite guitar players now tend to be the old time blues players. Check out Lightnin Hopkins, Roscoe Holcomb, Skip James, Robert Pete Williams they all have vids on here. I can't play like them because they were all one offs but I find them very inspiring. Also my favourite rock guitarist is Chuck Berry. Which guitarists do you like?
I just tried the bl d40 and d60 cant decide...sounded better than most the 4k collings lol that and a martin gcmmv will be my 2 choices or maybe one om28v for 2,899 hmmm cant decide
Hmmm, Blueridge are a lot less expensive but if money was no object I'd get a top of the range Martin. Having said that, the more expensive the guitar, the more you'd worry about getting it damaged or stolen.

You can't go wrong if you get both a Blueridge and a Martin.

Yeah, they are great guitars. Really good value too. I don't think they sound exactly the same as a Martin but they're sure a lot cheaper. ;)
