@Alm0nd396 You can get more leverage out of a kicktail. And normally boards that have them are usually meant for freestyle/freeride. But a board with a pintail is usually meant to just go cruise around town. Hope I helped.

@Oakley578 yeah phunkytown is right thats what i did. last year i bought a skateboard for $100. this is actually the video that got me into skating i couldn't afford an apex right away so i skated everyday until i got one i finally got my apex 37 carbon 3 months ago and i never regreted it. it was worth every damn penny and i caught on quick because i practiced on my skateboard. i love longboarding and skateboarding to death id choose it over sex with megan fox

I'm from Vancouver and I've seen many skaters now and then, but it never really caught my eye until I started watching these videos man. I have never once skated or even considered about skating before until now. Seriously, I am so tempted to go out and get me a longboard and start learning. @ForgivingConcepts do it dude!! i've been longboarding for two years now and it's the best thing i've ever spent my money on. i've got three boards now: two Sector 9's and a Landyachtz Switch. they all perform beautifully and you can take one everywhere and ride it wherever you see a paved road. I'll hopefully get an Original soon, i've ridden one and it feels amazing. if you do buy one, pick wise, and know what you're getting. Good luck man

Then a couple weeks ago, i went to vancouver to visit some friends and relatives, and nearly every other person i saw had a longboard with them, and looked like they had real fun just cruising around. Now i'm really into this and its fucking awesome. You're right, its never too late to start.

Some of my friends longboarded but I didn't care but once I saw their vids I whent out and got a longboard and 6 months later I got one of the best freeride, all around performance boards made by one of the most popular longboard companies. I only got better because it was SO fun and I never stopped and tried all kinds of stuff and got way better just because it was fun.
