the phone only vibrates when u set it on vibrate yes u can set the ring tone as a text alert and your phone will only vibrate when u get a text if u have it set on vibrate other than that no it wont vibrate and if u want to answer the other questions why dont u just go to walmart on the internet or call these stores and they will tell u wat u need to know

However using it on Fido/Rogers you'll most likely loose the ability to do IM, Email, and web browsing as Fido no longer has an active APN for HipTops any longer - since the Sidekick II , its been phased out!! However, I THINK Tmobile USA allows for users with credit card to be Canadian citizens to use & order any Sidekick but ship ONLY to US residence. Call them to double check.
