my teacher asked me to learn this solo to start me on tapping. really grateful for the video! it's extremely helpful!

one little part that's bothering me though: around 1:20, 1/5 part 3, your footnote says, for the trill, "either ring finger on L hand or point on R, can also be your pick". the only way i can think of using the pick is to start off the trill by picking the first note at 9th. How do you use the pick for the rest of the trilling?

actually randy had actually played it with the "5--4--5" on the E, but the "Open A, 4 on E, Open A" is just the easier way

tab books aren't always right - my Van Halen tab book has most of eruption the incorrect way so just deal with the fact that I don't care whether you re right or not but the fact that 99% of tabs on this song have the intro the same way this guy does

Nice lesson, although its overplayed on your part. (a lot of unnecessary repeats on different parts of the tab)

Although I understand you're trying to show us how its supposed to sound more than once, thats what the rewind button is for. It ends up making parts that are actually repeated more confusing to learn.

just one correcton: on 3rd part at the end it should be 17^ on the A string then 17 on the e string and then 17^V on the A string again. just change the 18 to a 17 and the tabs perfect.
