Christians are well aware of the link with lost sheep and education. The more educated you are, the more likely you are to return to Atheism, back to what you were at birth.The JW is particulary cruel and are far more open about cheating kids out of a good education and a good income.

@b1locat Actually they have gauranteed sales when the publishers BUY the books & magazines. They only pay basically room & board to the Bethel workers leaving them with a handsome yearly profit. You should research the annual Watchtower profit. A few cents on millions of magazines does add up.

@999Atwood The "Publishers?" They publish their own books. It's all funded by voluntary donations. Jehovah takes care of His organization.

@b1locat Seems you are not that familiar with the organization. "A Publisher" is a term THEY USE for somone who is qualified to go door to door. The magazines are paid for up front by the Publishers before they go door to door. Then if someone gives a donation on top of that they turn that in too.

Before they go out in service they have to pay for the magazines & hope people give them enough money at the door to cover the money they paid up front at the Kingdom Hall. The organization gets their money always, the members take the loss if they don't get enough collected in donations. Pretty simple math here.

@b1locat Yes, I grew up in it , that is how I know you could not have if you don't even know what a Publisher is. You were not a Witness or you are the most clueless one I've ever run across.

He describes how people without college education are on a remedial level. They really rub their noses in it. "you are remedial and we want you to stay that way" is the message behind their encouragement to knock on doors handing out Watch Tower pamphlets. The irony of this is that JWs do not even understand the true message of the Kingdom of God is within you. Keep up the good work here KurtBethel. Blessings.
