  • this is really a smokey robinson song... isnt it?!

  • He wasn't sick... just lots of Marlboro's coupled with a lot of singing. Honestly, I love the way his voice sounds on this song. It's warm and (no pun intended) smokey.

  • Sounds a wee bit like 'Tracks Of My Tears' at the beginning.

  • i have met and played with Herbie Flowers, when i was 13. that was odd.

  • A version recorded on this tour was released as a bonus track on the Rykodisc reissue of the live album David Live in 1990. The 2005 rerelease of the album put the song back into the correct position in the track listing.

  • Completely different song from the Ramones.

"Here Today and Gone Tomorrow" is a song written by Leroy "Sugarfoot" Bonner, Joe Harris, Marshall "Rock" Jones, Ralph "Pee Wee" Middlebrooks, Dutch Robinson, Clarence "Satch" Satchell, and Gary Webster of the Ohio Players' for their 1968 album Observations in Time.

David Bowie performed this track live on the Diamond Dogs tour in 1974 (as "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow"). .

  • Who wrote this? Is it a cover or a Bowie original?
