Yeah, I live in the south and it's hard to achieve good typical fermentation temp. This beer fermented around 70-72 degrees. Always check the yeast specs and see what temps it ferments best. Belgian ales can handle warmer temps. WLP-550 can handle temps up to 78 deg. Saisons ferment around 85 degrees. Anyway, now I have a freezer that I use to keep proper fermentation temps. :) Thanks for commenting.
I just made an american pale ale with safeale04, that was second generation with a starter. Mine looks like yours,but I have yeast stuck to sides of carboy also. Mine is alot more pale color.
Looks like cold break material floating around, not yeast :)

Your fermenting temps are too high. Ales should ferm between 60 and 65 degrees.

The beer turned out ok. I'm thinking that it had something to do with the clarifying agent I used.
