  • correct me if I'm wrong please but are people saying John and Paul didn't make up. Paul has said many times that they made up. He also said had he not made up with John he would have found it even harder to cope with the loss of John.

  • Paul really shone as a star on his own.

  • Too bad I was only 6 during 1980. I would like to have been at least a teenager and with the knowledge and personality and likes I have now, so I could have watched and enjoyed this as it aired, instead of now, 31 years later. :(

  • I watched this show when it was on live in 1980!

    I LOVE PAUL & LINDA!

I think they were HIGH! HA

  • " Do you think you´re cute??" HUH!?! What de hell kinda of a fucking ridiculous question is that???!! LOL!!!

  • Total load of rubbish.

I bet all who where involved and produced this way back then never worked again.

    At leased I hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garbage American t.v. at its best.

  • @windsors David Hartman's an actor, that's why!

  • 2.58 Lets find out what the other beatles are up to, absolutely no mention of John Lennon although he has made a recent comeback and Double Fantasy is already released?

  • 11 days later... 12/8/80 John was murdered

  • It's been 30 years since I first saw this. Thank you for posting

  • He was in New York just before days, he saw John this time :( glad he got to see him though.

  • He actually did not.The last time Paul saw John was in 1978 and it was brief because Paul suprised John and John said he was busy and Paul left and said he would come back another time. This is what I read. The last Beatle to see John was Ringo in Nov 1980 with Barbara.Paul and John last talked just before he released Double Fantasy in 1980.Its odd that this was happened just before Johns death.

  • @BobReidy

it was my understanding from fred's book, that in Jan 1980 before leaving new york for japan, and the bust, that paul phoned, or came, to the dakota to have a smoke, and brag about staying in the hotel suite that john and yoko always used when in tokyo. allegedly john had yoko arrange the bust whilst in a rage towards macca. there's probably no telling, really. besides claiming the break-up for himself, macca also purportedly bought up some extra shares in northern songs in 70/69.

  • this is true except that John and Yoko did not arrange the bust.Yoko had one of her tarrot readers put a curse on Paul to stop him from going to the Hotel Okura where John and Yoko frequently stayed and Paul and Linda were going to stay.

  • @BobReidy

yeah charlie swan, or whoever that guys name was. i don't have dakota days anymore. although, i gotta say, it was almost as enlightening as seaman's book. but, the fact also remains that ono had really good connections in japan. i believe her family was one of the preeminent families in japan! admittedly, she was the black sheep, and this led to alot of conflict with them. but between all this and her and john's burgeoning reputation for spending summers in japan, its possible, no?

  • @BobReidy I know she was such a weirdo, ruined John as well as the Beatles.

  • @LasgalenOsten So he saw John not long before his death? It's too bad that they never hashed out their differences and said "I forgive you" while they had the chance....

  • HE IS STILL CUTE FOR 68

  • HECK YEAH

  • very sad to think some days later John was murdered.

  • @ced95570 I know
