Cavaliers are fast, my F reg 2.0sri with 180k miles on the clock will still pull a lot of newer cars on the street and it will hit 140mph on the clock at 5.5k rpm in 5th and still want to g faster. almost 20 years of wear and tear, runs absolutely fine. Cosmetic damage as what occurs with all cars through aging so i'd consider them to be a bloody good bargain since it only cost me £700.

Mustangs are total unreliability, I owned one and it was crap. My brother owned two Fords, they were crap. They never were rated reliable. The 2002 and higher Cavaliers are reliable, they only had some electrical issues and the recall fixed the probs. I NEVER had any issues with the Sunfire nor Cobalt using the Ecotec.

People are getting confused with some of the comments on this page. US and UK cavaliers are not the same car. This video is a UK Vauxhall cavalier, and yes there was a Turbo version produced for a while. If I remember correctly it made 206bhp standard.

I still want to know, what the hell it has to do with this car? So what if its turbo, so what if you built a E320 turbo, I dont care. Its what you like, but I'm not going to bash you, you should show some of us J-body guys some respect because we dont have all kit parts, I mean sure we can go and buy a kitted turbo, but maybe this guy isnt just putting a kit.

See thats in your opinion. People have different tastes, and personally, I love how the 03-05 cavaliers look. I have an 03 and I think its sexier then a mitsubishi or a nissan. What opinion is biased, you probably think the Mk3 supras are sexy, as do I, and you probably like some of the higher end cars, good for you. But like I said, people have different tastes, and you should respect it, if your really into the car scene. Its not how much your car is worth, but how much you love it.

Cavaliers are fast, my F reg 2.0sri with 180k miles on the clock will still pull a lot of newer cars on the street and it will hit 140mph on the clock at 5.5k rpm in 5th and still want to g faster. almost 20 years of wear and tear, runs absolutely fine. Cosmetic damage as what occurs with all cars through aging so i'd consider them to be a bloody good bargain since it only cost me £700.

I think gentleman the cavalier you are referring to is the Cheverolet Cavalier the car in this video is not an american Chevie cavalier it is in fact an english/european vauxhall cavalier turbo 4x4. I do however think that back in the days of the mark 2 cavalier they did both share the same chassis maybe they still do on the mark 3 im not sure

I dont give a shit if it was made for europe or not. The chassis is still the same AMERICAN engineered chassis we have. If I wanted an RS spec focus in America it would cost a helluva lot less as well. The cavaliers ALL sucked around the track, even the awd model. And if you wanna talk about straight line speed, we had 400hp FWD cadillacs that could beat any fwd junk back in the 90s.

I specifically said straight line speed when I said that so whats there to argue? Ignorance? My Dad's Jeep Commander is the same size and year as a top-of-line 400hp LR3. The fully optioned LR3 has useless 20 inch wheels and thin-tires that aren't any good for any real offroading. Maybe some light mud or grass but the fully optioned Jeep Commanders 17 inch wheels and 32 inch tires easily outshine the Land Rover. Read a 4x4 magazine they regularly do the World v. Land Rover tests.

Range rovers are on top of their class because the test is just a road test. Motortrend gave a higher score to the Jeep Commander in offroad performance. Hell if my SUV had road tires it would ride quieter too.... The Commander has all the uphill and downhill control systems the land rover has too.

The freelander is built off the Ford Escape....an American car. A freelander could get stuck in muddy grass... Jeep rates higher than Land Rover in the JDpower test in quality(problems per 1000 vehicles). You think a commander is ugly but you recommend a D90.....I hope your taste in women isnt that bad... Mustangs are total unreliability, I owned one and it was crap. My brother owned two Fords, they were crap. They never were rated reliable. The 2002 and higher Cavaliers are reliable, they only had some electrical issues and the recall fixed the probs. I NEVER had any issues with the Sunfire nor Cobalt using the Ecotec.

People are getting confused with some of the comments on this page. US and UK cavaliers are not the same car. This video is a UK Vauxhall cavalier, and yes there was a Turbo version produced for a while. If I remember correctly it made 206bhp standard.
