It was a great movie. It's quite sad that they made the trailer looks awesome, but when you actually watch it at the theaters or on DVD, they cut some parts out, which was shown in the trailer.

It was a funny movie on one level, but it was too bad that out of all the movies made about comic book heros or super heros, the only Black one had to be an alcoholic and a bad husband. Thanks Hollywood. You should have went all the way and just made him a super pimp and a crack dealer while you were at it. i think the hype was that the trailer made it seem as if it was going to be a super hero movie but they failed to let us be aware the vast part of the message of the movie was love. the hero part was 20 percent that led up to being with the one you love and being away. it was a good movie, yes, but the message was not being a superhero it was more so of a action love movie. at the ending it was a lose lose situation, its still a movie worth seeing but dont expect the trailer.
