And, yes, the techniques do work in real scenarios. Very well, actually. Grappling has major issues when you start introducing weapons and multiple attackers.
This was just a choreographed demo that we put together for a ceremony. This is not very indicative of the system that we are developing. There is actually quite a bit of grappling as getting yanked out of the chair is almost inevitable in a serious fight against multiple attackers. However, in dealing with weapons or multiple attackers, it is not favorable to go to the ground or get tangled up in somebody.
hey man nice work but i'd have to say if you used that in a real situation you would be screwed. iam in a wheelchair and a judo/jujitsu practitioner. my advice would be ad some grapples in there... you can do alot of damage rather that just punching... in my experience if u punch in a fight your wrist will get grabbed and you will just get yanked out your chair... keep your opponent close and keep them in guard
