What a cool generating form, can such technique be acquired in taking Master of science in architecture ( Computer aided design ) ?? And i want to know wheter it is necessary to study more in autocad scripting when i am more interested in maxscript ?? can both of the resulting the same result or idea ??
This was an experiment explorng the creation of autonomous agents capable of generating form. The space is initally populated with a random cells and as the system is ran the agents test their location in the aim of reaching a 'ideal' local density. Each cell has very little intelligence and is only capable of local relationships which constitue towards a global form. This experiment is part of a larger body of work which seeks to expore the potential of autonomous urbanism.

hi, i m experimenting with cellular automata in mathematica and rhino.. but no good results. can you tell me how good is maxscript for intelligence? and what do you mean by VGs?

maxscript is the scripting language of 3Ds Max. It's already embedded in 3Ds Max and not a stand alone software.
