This video made me cry. I love aviation because of this plane. I went to a museum and they had a Concorde. I thought is was really awesome so I studied it. Studying it made me love aviation in general. Concorde is more than a thing that flies fast. It's an aviation icon. This is the best plane in history. Why must they retire such a magnificent plane? ;( This plane deserves more than being cooped up on the ground inside a museum. It should be in the skies. Where it belongs.

This is a first class video, lighting and composition is excellent. Concorde was grace personified and without question the most beautiful airliner to grace our skies. This video does her justice. Actually If you do some research the TU-144 had a higher maximum speed compared to the Concorde.

TU-144 top speed was 2500mph vs. Concorde 2350mph.

But in terms of aesthetics, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I never said I disliked this aircraft. Its a great plane, I just thought the TU-144 was better.

nice video, hate to be a perfectionist but when the afterburners went on at 1:00 the sequence wasn't right, they don't go on in order from left to right, normally they would be engaged in the order of #1 and 4 engines than #2 and 3 that is to ensure equal thrust on both sides and so that the passengers don't get jolted back into their seats as they would if all 4 afterburners were engaged at the same time.
