Well, no the original iPhone's tech was not (and still isnt) fast enough for MMS. I believe that's why Apple was hesitant to release 3.0 for the origional iPhone. I think it should have been out since the release of the 3G since it is way faster than edge.

That's wrong, of course it's fast enough - if my very old Sharp Gx10i can handle MMS then it'd be easier for the iPhone. GX10i doesn't even have EDGE and since MMS can only be upto 100KB on most networks then EDGE is more than capable. What about email? That needs more bandwidth than MMS and they managed to provide that...

Well, your probably right in terms of connection speed. But Apple says the hardware itself is not compatible. They could be purposely making it not capable.....maybe as a plot to get 1st gen owners to upgrade to the 3G now that some of their 2yr contracts will be expiring. Yes, stereo Bluetooth is going to be a reality by using a2d technology. Also, yeah, with Spotlight, you scroll one page to the left (for jail broken users, this is nothing new). It's very similar to Quick Gold. There is a shake to shuffle on the iPod, as well.

A big update to copy and paste: you can copy STRAIGHT from a web page. Yup, HTML copy and paste. UNFORTUNATELY, this only allows you to copy entire paragraphs, not individual sentences or words. It's still pretty sketchy.
