  • Love these videos.

  • yoiu have sooo much empty space in america :( europe is too crowded so its not that easy to find a good spot for flying

  • Comment removed

  • Nice flying Eric pretty good considering all that wind! When you guys were hovering there at the start with all that wind were you guys in F-Mode?

  • Great flying, given the wind condition. Where could I pick up orange things on skids?(visual aid). Do they help in softer landing as well?

  • was dave using upgraded servos?

  • No 3 axis gyro stabilisation - nice flying

  • That looks so fun. Are they difficult to learn how to fly?

  • What's on the bottom of the heli what is that for?

  • What are the orange things on the skids? oh and why?

  • What are the orange things on the skids?

  • @siegelsdad visual aids and they work pretty well. Dave gave me a couple sets and I have been using them a while.

  • Alright, please tell me the name of this song, sounds awesome, great flying !

  • Very entertaining video thanks.

  • good job!

  • dave what are the orange things on the landing gear, and why?

  • @darkflamer theyre contraceptives to the helis wont mate out of season.

  • @darkflamer visual aids and they work pretty well. Dave gave me a couple sets and I have been using them a while.

  • Really great stuff , I like the vid. keep up the great work, 5 stars

  • @CrazyHeliDude Thanks kindly. Dave and I will be flying again soon.

  • lol dave showed you! :)

  • @earthling1984 He's been flying for years, but yes you are right. He did show the grasshopper who's the master. lol..

  • Cracking video, guess I might unbox mine one of these days!

  • just send it to me.

  • just got my blade 400 the other day and its awesome :)

had 3 awesome flights then i had a blade strike which broke the blades and feathering spindel shaft and striped 2 servos, awaiting parts now :)

goint to get a training gear before i take her up again though, but not as hard of a heli to fly as it thought it might be, its actualy easy to do basic flight with mild flight manouvers like figure 8's etc , would recomend this for anyone with fixed pitch experience helis

  • @puggster Do you think it would be good for me? I've mastered the MCX and I'm pretty good at the MSR and I want this one because I could fly it around my neighborhood and start doing 3D tricks, and it comes with a DX6i. Thanks.

  • keep practicing with the msr and you should do ok with the b400,

remember though if you crash this heli you will break some head section parts because it has a very high rotor speed but the b400 is a great heli to fly,

this is my first collective pitch heli of this class of model and check out my vids, thats roughly only 20 flights and i already doing forward flight, i would recomend changing the stock servos though as i had issues with them but the rest is top notch stuff :)

  • @puggster - Pretty much agree with all you said. The B400 is a great heli to learn on. I have been using a sim for a few months and have had about 30 battery packs through the B400. I am just starting to do decent forward flight. I agree the stock servos are not great but they are not as bad as everyone thinks. I do recommend (and I am going to do this) change to a decent tail rotor servo. Value for money, the B400 leaves just about and other heli for dead. Keep on flying!!!!!!

  • also make sure you can afford to repair it if you crash, we all crash, even the pro's, so even though parts are cheap, you often have to replace several parts per crash, good thing though as normaly parts come with 2 or more of the part requierd so next time you crash you wont need to buy the part again till the next time you break it :), good luck

  • where did you get the pontoons from:)??? nice flight :)

  • @zielonekrzeslo they were armbands cut up. Nightflyer had a video on how to make them

  • where can I find the movie( how to make a pontoons?) please:) I am new user of blaede400, msr, and mcx... I like Your movies. wether in UK is very windy, so I nac;t fly now. But I have 'phonix' simulator. Lot of fun. Nice to watch you flying. Thank you.....

  • Nice video :) Flying tandem looks like a lot of fun.

I just got a Blade 400 for christ, waiting to run it to the LHS to have my setup looked over and get it test flown. Seeing the stability of it in your vids has made me a lot less worried about flying it.

I've just been logging a bunch of time on Realflight with a Blade400 model over the last few months. Got my first piroflips today, I can imagine it's gonna be a long time before I work up the nerve to try that with the real thing lol

  • can u or dave fly upsidedown?

  • dave is dang good sorry to comment on ur vid eric but he is good u gatta admit...

    u good to thow...

  • nice flying i cant wait till i get my blade 400 i dont think ill be trying anything to fancy till i learn to fly it lol...

  • Hi dave I have a blade 400, I think something in the electronics is killing my battieres. is this posibile

  • Nice flying, I have a Esky llama v4, its great for indoor flying, you can fly it outdoors too but the wind can be an issue. Unfortunately i dont have a big space to fly it but im doing okay.

  • Its great flying with your best buddy ...

  • Thanks for watching.

  • @joehandsome99 I have a blade mSR. I can fly it pretty aggressively now, and I started on an mCX. Would it be o.k. to step up to a blade CP, CP pro or even a 400?

  • is blade 400 will land on water?

  • No, the orange floats are visual aids only.

  • Do the orange floats protect anything?

  • wow u and dave are freinds cool from what ive hered he was like a professional rc pilot like alan zarbo etc. is that true?? if not he's still kool! lol

  • I met Dave last year on my RC road trip. He is an excellent heli pilot. Thanks for watching.

  • Does the canopy mounting rods slide in and out on your blade 400.

  • Yes, they can be removed if you want to change them out.

  • Your flight sim doesnt have heli's in it? Can you add them in?

  • Nice video, i tried to fly helis but i had a honeybee fp, it was too twitchey and hard to fly, i would like to try a big(er) cp heli. They are so much more stable, but i dont have money right now :D I have to get my heli fix on g4 haha.

  • A flight sim is a good investment. I recommend it to everyone quadracer111.

  • Yea, i have one.

  • Thats good. Keep working with it. I learned how to roll my first rc plane in a flight sim and did it just the same with the real thing. They are worth the money.

  • Haha, i have a flight sim but no heli to fly. It kinda sucks. My money went into my rc trucks and i didnt save enough for the helis... Sucks when your under 16 and cant fly :D

  • you should have went 3d mode on dave

  • lol.. Thanks for watching sonnielicious.

  • hey i never knew you were friends with dave!

  • I met Dave and Jeff on my RC road trip last year. They are great guys.

  • the training skids on your heli are flat to the ground are they your own idea? do they work good?

  • They are carbon fiber rods held to the landing skid with tie straps. A friend came up with the idea and it works. thanks for watching.

  • Awesome you and dave know each other. I wish you guys were in my rc club =(

  • Thanks for watching sslusshy.

  • nice vid i hav always wanted one of those

  • Thanks for watching anoyous.

  • Nice vid Eric, I bet you had alot of fun with those guys.

  • Yep, lots of fun and lots more video in the vault. Thanks for watching eggyhed.

  • That was enjoyable to watch Eric and reminisce of the great flying that day we all had. 5 stars.

  • It was fun to watch again. Thanks for the comment and rating Dave.

  • those helis are the 400 3d?

  • Sure are. They are both stock blade 400's. Dave is an excellent pilot and really shows you what it can do. Thanks for watching migueyeah123.

  • ooh nice. they recommend you that one in the box of the mcx after being an expert with the mcx... i think i wont handle it even while being an expert with the mcx, am i right? which more advanced than the mcx heli do you recommend me?

  • I would suggest going to a larger coaxial blade helicopter and when you can master it in all orientations then it would be time to step up to a 3d heli. They have a new blade cx3 out and it comes with some really nice upgrades over the old cx2.

  • Another awesome vid........good flying, looks like a lot of fun !

  • Thanks for watching taz1175.

  • No problem joehandsome99.....anytime !

  • Erica cool video and like watching you play with such great toys,Your friend Robert.

  • Thanks kindly Robert.

  • Very nice!

  • Thanks moolikeacow2.

  • every time you fly these things i want to ge one. hey...that is a contest to have...lol...the one with orange on the bottom...can that land on water?

  • The blade 400 helicopters are a little too expensive to give away. The orange floats are a visual aid while I fly. Those things can get away from you in a hurry. Thanks for watching and the comment Michele.

  • My daughter wants one now.. :)

    Pººhßear

  • Thats cool! thanks for watching PB.

  • Great Video Great Trip love seeing the footage from last year 5 Stars

  • We will have to do it again. Thanks for filming some of these great times Greg.

  • Excellent! I forgot about the 2 Blade 400's flying. What other footage do you have tucked away from last years trip to Sibley? Can't wait to see the F-22! 5*

    Jeff

  • I've got hours of footage and it will probably take me a long time to get all the best flights up. Thanks for watching and the comment Jeff.

  • Glad you got to put the vid up Eric and can't wait till the summer so i can get some stick time on my heli's again lol, looks good seeing two 400 3D's flying together mate and great flight Eric,5*

  • Thanks for the comment and rating Startazz.

  • Great job of flying the helicopters. I hear they are a little harder to fly.

  • Yes they are and I am still learning. Thanks for the comment Steve.

  • Blade Buddies! looks like a reunion of the youtube rc heavy hitters. nothing like bonding good friendships with good times (flying fun toys). great vid.

  • We had fun that day. Thanks for the comment wildhover.

  • Looks good Eric, loven them rocket launchers!

  • lol.. I got those from Dave. They do help me see it when it is in the air.
