Now some facts. My 3 year old son had many black friends who are kids of my friends (By the way, I am asian). After six months into Kindergarten, he was not playing with anyone who was darker than him. This is what a 3 year old can learn from his 3 year old german friends in kindergarten. I'm English but I've lived and worked in Germany and ich mag Deutschland. Finding (aged 16) that German people were very cool and that Germany is a great place surprised me, because of what I'd heard in England...

Now some facts. My 3 year old son had many black friends who are kids of my friends (By the way, I am asian). After six months into Kindergarten, he was not playing with anyone who was darker than him. This is what a 3 year old can learn from his 3 year old german friends in kindergarten. It was a protestant kindergarten. Not to mention, I changed the kindergarten.

@MrHamburgg I don't remember the name, but there has experiments conducted into this phenomenon (using adults). They put a bunch of people together and told them to identify with those others they felt most comfortable with. nearly all of them gravitated towards people with the most similar backgrounds as themselves - ethnic, religious, economic, etc.
It's not racism, it's human nature (or whatever you want to call it).
