don't be a politicist. i think i just made that word up. or at least focus on liberal/conservative and not democrat/republican. majority of them are moderate anyway. but.. i don't remember what my point was.
Kucinich? Well, to each there own. Why do you feel that way about Huckabee? I don't care for him either but seems like a really good public speaker.

Sorry about your grandfather. 95 years old, though! Safe to say he lived a full life.
