@illriginalized I doubt that America has less conscious artists, it's just the music media tells that the only bands out there are the ones that distract you from what's really happening to the planet. It happens hear in the UK, many people who know the music that Mongrel's musicians make in their other bands, but have barely heard of Mongrel. That's even with the album being given away in a newspaper one week... Complete black-out. Political music and right wing media don't mix.

It takes some serious brainwashing tricks to create that psychological state in people. I wish people were aware of how powerful and manipulative the media is when taking it just at face value.
