@GatorWarrior14 Power metal is usually more speedy and has an "uplifting" feel. Prog is more focused on unconventional song structures and timing and is usually a lot more technical. A lot of power metal bands have a proggy aspect to their music.
there's a few songs I like but prog is just too cheese and annoying to me,even the lyrics;I preffer real power metal like Mob Rules and Symponic metal like Therion...
