I think she did have young just before Owl came back. But seeing as snakes don't look after their young maybe like all baby snakes they left after birth.

Well it's like how we don,t see if Toad and Paddock had young because most anphibians don't look after their young. And also snakes like Adder are reptiles and apart from crocodillians reptiles don't look after their young. Some mother snakes do look after their eggs but none look after their young.

Not sure if I like the third series so much with rats as an enemy. They'd never cause so much trouble in reality; they'd probably run away from a single fox, let alone a band of animals. Oh well, maybe one day they'll get the rep they deserve!

Funny you should mention that. They do have three unnamed owlets in the books. Only thing is in the books Owl is male(Twanny Owl) and Hollow is female.(Holly)
