I also got hacked once. I had probably 200g and like 10 badges of Triumph (this was in WotLK). I told blizzard "They ran off with around 5,000g and then they spent all 250 of my badges and DE'd them!!"... I got myself some nice new gear thanks to that hacker.

I was in WSG once, and a human was using a speedhack. He would dash accros the map and nab our flag. Eventually, by stunning him, etc. while holding their flag, we eventually won 2-3. Now THAT was a hacker getting owned :D

Yep the hacker got owned; You along with hundreds of other people downloaded a trojan (Many with level 20's trying to get gm powers) He fucking transfered the items through three accounts, a friend, transfered servers got a name change and then kept all the shit and the gold. the GM simply gave you back your equipment. he was not owned, you were. grats on making use of the report feature of the game.
