  • WHY IS THIS NOT ON ITUNES?! D:

  • I dont know why it bothers me that he used the picture of the album DecemberUnderground when this song is not even on that album. They actually didnt even sound like this on that album

  • @racs8 Do your homework, it was released on this album, just not in this country.

  • @capsfanintahoe Well maybe im not from that country but ok sorry i didnt know but that song was created way before this album came out, i know cuz i heard it in the radio dats why i didnt know. N it bothers me cuz they sound nothing like this on that album. They changed their style completely

  • @racs8 your right, it was recorded a while before DU. Seems a lot of their best songs are unreleased, or rare.

  • I've always expected them to dig deeper into their post punk influences-The Cure, Depeche Mode, etc. This was inevitable, and it fits.

  • I am as old as this band, hope they come out with new stuff

  • I didn't get this on my Itunes download of DECEMBERUNDERGROUND...

  • @513986916 Came from the U.K. import C.D

It's a bonus track, but it isn't exclusive to iTunes.

  • how come i don't have that song on my cd o.o ? such a nice song tough :)

  • @fulib i understand u like the music but lets not go that far haha theres waaaay better musicians out there...jim morrison for instance

  • AFI is one those bands i love from the time when i was teen...They are the BEST

  • Everytime, I fall in love with their "change of style". Finally I suppose that I'm just in love with AFI.

    Meravigliosi.

  • @SpecialNeeds5 concordo

  • AFI is like Emin3m been trough shit , but never gave up and now 20 years in, still give me chills when I get nostalgic feeling. Like the best , and REAL old skool.

  • this song is totally about old AFI reproaching new AFI

"all the notes you've forgotten now"

  • FUCKING RIGHT MAN!

  • mp3000.net

  • Dude! Dude! Dude! Shit! I know! OK See ya. You'll propably gonna tape me walking down the street anyway right? Yeah I know you.

    -Robert Myre

  • I HAVE THIS ALBUM FOR 3 YEARS AND THIS IS REALLY AMAZING WHEN I HEARD IT I PRINT THIS ALBUM COVER, AND I RECOMENDED TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

I LIKE THIS SONG A LOT. XD

  • I HAVE THIS ALBUM FOR 3 YEARS AND THIS IS REALLY AMAZING WHEN I HEARD IT I PRINT THIS ALBUM COVER, AND I RECOMENDED TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

I LIKE THIS SONG A LOT.

  • Rob Myre

  • Robert Myre

  • this song is by far one of my favorites not only by AFI but of all

  • on what album would i find this song?

  • @dillonsetsfire DecemberUnderground

  • @dillonsetsfire you can find this song in the album decemberundergroun good look

  • @dillonsetsfire UK Version of Decemberunderground. Thats where you can find Rabbits Are Roadkll on Rt. 37

  • mainstream really? i mean think about it... i never hear this on the radio. ever. so fuck everyone who hates. afi is and has been my favorite band forever

  • 333rd like<333

  • Just because you may b gay, does not mean you can point them ALL out. I have a friend at school that is gay, who has NEVER dated a girl, and NO ONE suspects he's gay! Not even the guys that are gay. And yes, he does were makeup, witch can come off a little weird, but that does not assure you he is gay! What PROOF do you have that he is gay??

  • Lol gotta love the name. The songs pretty good.

  • js, afi stands for 'a fire inside', it kinda pisses me off when i search a fire inside and get no music related to this band at all. :[

  • what album is this on?

  • @25ciskey25 Decembeunderground

  • think about it. if afi didnt change their music, every song they have would sound the same. and if that where the case afi would be kind of like a lot of other bands. but they have gotten creativity and travled out of one genera. i really like that about them. and also how no matter what they make, it sounds freaking amazing. so dont complain about their changing music and outlooks. enjoy it

  • i love this album *-*

  • DXH <3

  • AFI could sell their collective souls to Donald Trump and I'd still love them. I'd be like wtf, but I'd still love them.

  • high school memories

  • @ZipKingOfTheOzone exactly! This song brings me such great memories of a crush I had in high school. :)

  • Decemberunderground <333

  • whever i feel lost in a high, AFI brings me back into reality <333

  • I rember when afi was one best hardcore bands in the scene and now there nothing but corporate puppets making music for the masses. why davey why

  • afi = sell outs (i hate to admit this too, cuz i loved them just as mush as the next guy)

  • @paptart911

Then don't listen to them if it bothers you that much. Pretty simple.

  • @TheSeventhSon well i dont (obviously cuz it would make me a hypocrite) but there is a thing called freedom of speech and i'll voice my opinion where i want. didnt disrespect nor ostracize anybody. pretty simple......

  • @peudoiseaurouge You speak the damn truth :) friend me :)

  • yeah! AFI RULES MY MUSIC WORLD!!!

  • For the "selling out" debate I want to share a quote by Henry Rollins "Selling out isn't winning money by becoming mainstream,it's doing an album you don't want to do because of money and your label." I'm not sure AFI has ever made an album which doesn't sound like something they wanted to (it explains the diference between all of their albums since Black Sails).

For MTV,I know it's sad but let's not forget what Davey said : he's heard Rock Music for the first time with MTV so it maybe a reason

  • @CMnams By far the best explanation for AFI's changing sound... You and Rollins are right, AFI didn't sacrifice their originality to become rich, they just started making albums that the mainstream was attracted to. The mainstream came to them, they didn't go to the mainstream. Nice comment, wise words!

  • @CMnams No, "sell-out" means the little pricks who liked Green Day's Kerplunk! (as an example) felt alienated when their favourite band made Dookie and became good. The same goes for the little pricks who thought Dookie was the best thing ever, and then ten years later Green Day released American Idiot and the same thing happened.

  • Crash Love is amazing musically. Don't know what crack you're smoking. Do you even play a rock instrument?

  • get on itunes!

  • people are stupid.

    they've been changing since 1996.

they went from hardcore punk , to darker hardcore punk, to horror punk, to alternative influenced post hardcore, to pop punk, to alternative rock. so what if they're changing, can't say it's still not listenable.

  • @blinktom11guitar so many different genres you covered there, i always just called them AFI but hey to each his own.

  • @blinktom11guitar "When you're playing a style of music that doesn't really

fit anywhere, you run a risk. You're challenging people to

leave their niche, to leave their predetermined ideas of

what they're supposed to like. Luckily, we have a lot of

people who just focus on the music and appreciate us for

what we are. So we get fans from all different genres of

music, the jocks, the spooky kids, skaters, college kids,

punk rockers, hardcore kids, metal kids, all that" - Davey Havok

  • @blinktom11guitar agreed sometimes change is good and the way we cope with life. and we all change.

  • @blinktom11guitar

I dunno, I've never liked them from the start so I suppose some can.

  • 7 people like Justin Beiber

  • @ZeldaWolf55 whats youre infatuation with justin beiber?wtf is every bodys deal with that kid i know he sucks but do you really have to mention his name on every rock song, metal, punk rock song?are you getting paid to promote his name?you must be an under cover fan disguised as a afi fan i bet your one of the 7 who dislikes this tell the truth lil sister

  • @6millionlies14

I'm pretty sure zeldawolf55 was insulting the only 7 people to dislike this song by calling them Beiber fans, not repping Beiber. Relax, lol.

  • I ♥ this song!!! ^_^

  • I didnt like Crash Love at first. Now i like it a lot (although i still dont like Beautiful Thieves. The chorus of that song just bothers me)

  • @athabascka beautiful thieves is one of the few songs i like on that album. December underground is the best

  • @rambow70 Decemberunderground is the best? You havent been listening to enough AFI my friend :P

DU is AMAZING but Black Sails in the Sunset and The Art of Drowning, even Sing the Sorrow captured the true, amazing essence of AFI <3

  • O my goodness I can't find this song on iTunes what's going on :(

  • @MrIsotoxin hahahaha yeah right. AFI is amazing from answer that to crach love.

  • @GreyShadowUchiha i agree entirely, decemberunderground was nothing like their regular music and it was still awesome, but crash love was a failure in every way possible

  • @TheAmericanFrenchman

FINALLY PEOPLE THAT AGREE WITH ME CRASH LOVE SUCKED MUSICALLY AND MAINSTREAM

  • @MrIsotoxin i agree. i love afi. i liked their earlier stuff but in my eyes crash love failed...... :(

  • @CompTwitt heeey im goin 2 the same concert!!!!!! im in the 3rd row back so excited

  • @xavierm40 wow I'm seeing them at that show too. XD

  • mam czkawkę jestem z Davidem moja dusza jeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Wonderful vocals & AFI rocks! I'll see them June 5th! woo-hoo! AFI!

  • @DjInsanityHumanity

    can i come too D: D: D:

  • love this fuckin song

  • i saw these guys in nashville back in march, they fuckin rocked my balls off. i'm still looking for them. ha

  • -sigh- so much fighting.....

  • asome x0

  • i will see them with green day in new jerdey this summer cant wait :)

  • @Mayoso0831 lucky bitch!!

  • @Mayoso0831 Grrr, the first show is close to where i live...cnt go tho =[

  • i preety sure this song was not on the cd!!!!wasnt this a single!

  • why are there so many more awesome songs on the uk versions of albums?

  • I honestly don't know but there are songs I want on the Japanese version of Crash Love too so its just all the other countries who get the good B-sides

  • afi is not gay. they may sound more main stream but only because that is where their musical senses have taken them. sure they change a bit (or a lot) with every cd they release but what they don't change is their need to create music for them selves not for the man. afi is one of the few true musical artists left that creates music for the purpose of creation and communication. and that's why they're amazing

  • shut up your dumb

  • There are shitloads of artists that create awesome uncompromising music. AFI decided to become mainstream - it wasn't because of their "musical tastes".

  • @peudoiseaurouge Sounds beautiful, but it's not true... I just saw a interview of the Punk Afi, saying mtv is shit (because it is), and 4 years after that, they made a fucking concert on mtv... Money ruins almost every good band... It's sad, but we can't deny it...

  • @jave22 What vid is that and were can i find it????

  • @xPunkBmXx here =) // watch?v=-8ailVE8tu8

tell me how do you feel after watching it ;)

  • @peudoiseaurouge just like green day does

  • @peudoiseaurouge fact is Davey gets a new haircut every album...nice but CL was a crash...no love

  • @peudoiseaurouge wtf is wrong with you. ITS MORE THAN OBVIOUS DAVEY IS GAY. how do i know? i am gay myself, and we can tell other gays. so why are people (Aka chicks) saying he isnt when he is? because they want to keep the dream alive of one day meeting him and having sex with him? get over it. hes gay, and it shouldnt be an issue. sexual preference shouldnt matter in music

  • @jelmdemoterhelm he isn't gay.. he is with britnay bowen (spelling?) she is an indie model she is on half of the making of videos, she is asian.. u can see tonsof pictures of them together..

  • @fresh098 i'm very aware of that. But gay men marry all the time because they dont dare to come out. there is NO doubt that this man is gay. i am gay myself and i can point them out from miles away.

  • @jelmdemoterhelm thats not true, I have a gay uncle (who got married just a few days ago) he dosen't think that, because you can never truly know a man (or in any person in the since of the word 'man').

  • @jelmdemoterhelm Listen to On the Arrow, Self Pity, Endlessly She Said.

Those songs are clearly about girls.

"The girl I loved has gone away, theres no chance that she would stay" - Self Pity

  • @LongviewGD182 Um that was made f'king like 20 years ago.

AFI has tons of songs about girls!

The Last Kiss, Who Said You Could Touch me, A Winter's Tale.

I'm sorta adding to your point by disagreeing with you.

Wow how often does that happen?

  • @peudoiseaurouge no they are really actually gay except for one of them i think

  • @peudoiseaurouge the singer has to be gay on his song love like winter he is talking about a man in a very gay way look up the lyrics

  • @mrbelmont2000 Actually, he's said it before, that song is from numerous points of view. At one point he says "he bit my lip and drank my war from years before" which is talking about a guy. "She entails vanilla lace. I barely dreamt her yesterday" is about a girl. "She said 'it seems you're somewhere far away' to his face" is all in third person. So if you look at it like that, Davey isn't a character in the song. He's a voice that is used to express the characters in the song and he's also a

  • @mrbelmont2000 narrator who is describing the setting in the song. Granted, he could be using that to describe feelings he's had in his own life, but that suggests that he's had those feelings for women too. I'm just trying to make it clear that his sexuality isn't necessarily defined by this music and that it doesn't even really matter.

  • This is cleverbots favorite song??? sweet!

  • awesome love afi

  • apparently this is cleverbots favorite song

  • I creme to this!

  • Comment removed

  • i didnt know this was a song... lol. awesome song though.

  • Ahhhh...I want to put this song on my ipod SOOOOOO bad ,,,PIZZZ somebody tell me where I can find it cuz I looked everywhere and I can't find an ipod download...:( I'm getting desperate people--desperation, desolation, all I've truly known until I find this song!!

  • i looked everywhere too i dont like doing it but google youtube mp3 converter and put in the url

  • Comment removed

  • looove this song <3

  • AFI tmrw!! helllllz yeah! going to tear shit up! Chicago is going to be alive!

  • Going to see them live? i saw them in october here in buffalo, and it was so amazing, its like, i practically worship them, and have since i was like 9, and to see them in person for the first time was overwhelming, It annoyed me when people tried to start mosh pits, dont mosh to afi, theyre too good, mosh to metal, machine head, megadeth, morbid angel and the like.

  • Umm...AFI evolved from hardcore punk roots. You do realize moshing used to be a GIVEN at their shows, right? Their pits back in the day were pretty brutal. That Gallows band that probably opened for them that show? That's pretty much what AFI used to be. Listen to Black Sails or AOD. See?

  • first of all dont tell me what afi to listen to, ive been listening to them since i was 9, which is pretty much since they started, i OWN the days of the phoenix ep, and i payed a lot of money for it so dont fucking talk down on me. I know, because i listened to them in those days, what i was saying is that theyre not like that anymore, They're above it, and theyve evolved beyond that point. and gallows isnt really like what they used to be, theyre more metallic, if that makes sense.

  • Ha so true! back when it was a lot more straight edge based. I remember when I was scared to get in the pit cause people would bring raiser blades in with out getting caught. those were the days :-)

  • @Saltcitysound I remember beating on those people for being such pussies haha

  • @Deathless1One You tell people not to tell you what to listen to then you tell them not to do what they want? Hypocrisy If I ever saw it :P anyway I see your stand point ive been listening to them for years myself and They have changed to a more mainstream sound thats not to say thats a bad thing but its not them anymore this is still my fav song by them however and wasent this on an earlier album? or something I remember hearing it before DU

  • me encanta esa cancion

  • LOVELY !

  • freakin awsome song!!!!!:P

  • don't no this is my favorite track by afi

  • As this is one of my favourite tracks by the band, could someone answer why this was not featured on any album?

  • well synasthesia was another amazing song, but to me it seems their B-Sides are always really good, but then again everything AFI does is perfect...

  • I never heard this AFI song before

  • i remember when this came out.

  • Yeah, because it was SOOOOO long ago.

  • wow, sarcasm. let me try!

    i am SOOOO offended.

i never said or acted like it was "SOOOOOO" long ago, just said i remember when it came out. as in it brought back some memories. slow your roll.

  • @jerkasaurus the songs older than you think :P it was on an older single awhile back If Im right I do remember hearing this long before DU

  • yes im aware. it was recorded during the sing the sorrow sessions and released in october of 2004 after a lot of begging. i can still remember being out with friends and my afi buddy calling me to tell me they had released it. never said it was from du either.

haha, i feel like im being challenged. anyone else?

  • HA HA HAAHA

  • Very interesting.

  • what uk cd did this song come on?

  • Absolutely love this song. <3

  • This song's bridge is amazing.

  • Why do the other places get the good stuff man?

  • damn shoulda got the UK version of this cd

  • that we are

  • anaemiceye.. are you serious? lol Its ok I will tell chu!

    A FIRE INSIDE!!!

    <3

  • what is A.F.I short for?

  • A fire Inside.

  • O.O seriously? lol. well your question has been answered, but to AFI fans, it seems to be a out of place queston...lol. at least now you know. Fun fact: as I was looking at the old punk AFI albums ie; Shut your mouth and open your eyes and Very proud of ya AFI stood for Asking for it. It confused me since i've only knew them as A fire inside. lol. now isnt that something interesting? lol.

  • AFI

    asking for it

    anthems for insubordinates

    a fire inside

    thereyagosport:)

  • They never stood for Asking for it, that was actually what people put on their mail when asking for merchandise/info.

  • If you look at the punk rock albums, it does in fact say it. I'm not kidding, my brothers even have said it, and they aren't kidding either. They have known AFI since they started pretty much in '91. So either I am crazy and am hallucinating, or I'm right. where are you getting your sources? *unsure*

  • Search- "Malfunction TV Show": Davey Havok Interview at :31 seconds, Davey says it. I actually learned it from another interview he did that gave a bit more explanation, but I can't find it.

  • True. AFI stand for A Fire Inside.

  • I want the UK import CD.

When the new album comes out they better make it so we ALL can get all the AFI-goodness we can <3

  • Yea I went to the UK for 3 weeks, and while i was there i got this and Sing the Sorrow because the UK version setlist is better, >.> i have the CDs at home, it pisses me off that the UK version has more songs

  • I totally pre-ordered Crash Love, the deluxe version has like 4 extra songs from December Underground and STS that were never released :D

  • how she meow meow

  • WE INTENT!

  • I wish i had the uk import CD, I don't have this, it sucks balls.

  • i feel you :(

i have it but with shitty quality, it bugs the hell out of me lol

  • My Favourtie AFI Song :)

  • I love them

  • lovee them

  • ☮

  • i love this song!!!

  • Is this on their new EP yet to be released...I must know where to get this song!

  • its the b-side to the miss murder single

  • any of yall into the symbolism of the rabbits or 337 stuff incorporated here (rt37=337) look it up
