  • Dub FX didn't have a problem with his... haha

  • jimmy fallon?

  • The thing about this, is its hip. So thats cool.

  • I don't think you can bring it back to just the drums without first recording the drums on the second track also.. you cant even do this at the same time of recording the first track. for example i recently recorded a loop on the first track with the drums.. left that playing whilst i recorded the just the drums still sounding from the first track for the same length of time as the loop on track one. only then can you pause the loops on the first track and be left with just the drums. ; /

  • in other words, i can't get the undo/redo to work for the original phrase without stopping the drums. I can only get it to do that with subsequent over dubbed layers.

  • @jdspencer8 i just picked up an rc-30 and i am experiencing the same thing. I may return it.

  • I have the Boss RC-2 and the RC-20. I'm having a problem that I need some help with and I've been unable to find anyone to help.

How can I set the tempo of drums, record a phrase, then erase or stop the phrase and bring it back to just drums w/o turning off the drum beats too?

Most songs have two progressions(chorus/verse)so once the original phrase(verse) is recorded I'm having trouble stopping or erasing it to allow the song to change to the second or other phrase(chorus)

  • I'm having trouble stopping or erasing it to allow the song to change to the second or other phrase(chorus) without stopping everything all together. Will the RC-50 fix this problem with the separate phrase pedals? In other words, could i put the drums on phrase 1 pedal, and the first phrase layer on phrase 2 so it could be stopped or brought in and out without stopping the drums?

  • j'ai l'impression de regarder une demo pour la Jamman...vous ne faites meme pas de refrain en plus...dommage avec un rack pareil^^

  • Nice Video!

How come you don't get the slight well known "gap" after you do the first loop at 0:45? I have upgraded my rc-50 and I still get this annoying gap when using the rhythm tracks. I am not getting it anymore of course using when rhythm tracks are off.

  • @grandpaatemydildo There is no gap if you are playing to the drum track. Trust me I don't use the rhythm tracks at all... and I have that fucking gap too. I've got an RC-2 (single pedal looper) and there's no gap but they can't fix this on their flagship looper? PLEASE

  • can you use a microphone and an instrument at the same time through this?

  • @BootsInCats : yes you can. there's a mic input and instrument stereo inputs, that run at the same time with different level knobs.

  • can you record a 5 minutes phrase with different chords? or just two notes in each phrase?

  • @bojorquez1234 : yes you can record 5 minutes of anything.

  • Who wants to listen to that click on stage? yuk.

  • @thalonen the click is optional, duh.

  • @Motorsheep I know but I never fond found out how to permanently turn it off. An on off button would have been fun :-) Like in the old days.

  • After I record a phrase (guitar) on one channel and add to another I can't seem to erase what I've recorded...Any suggestions for removing the not just over dubbing it after the phrase has been recorded and playing back....

I've had to unplug the unit to get rid of what I've recorded. I like the RC-50 and hope I've made the right choice for recording tracks...

  • @reditreefrogs : I am not sure, but i think you mean erasing the complete phrase, not the last overdub. You can do this by stepping on stop footswitch and hold it down for 2 secs. another option is to rotate the patch knob to next memory location, and back again..

  • it's awesome mate, can you help me please i try to record using single mode on three prhases with verse, chorus and brigde on each phrases and different lenght but the problem is after i record second or third prhases then i playback the current phrase suddenly the current phrase changes tempo and sounds like under water, can you please help me please with this problem?thanks

  • @yavedro If you turn it on, then push the small phrase one button (underneath the level knob, NOT the switch...), then push the parameter button until you get to Loop Sync, then roll the Patch/Value knob until Loop Sync is OFF it will fix it, IF you do that for all three phrases. Ergo, repeat this procedure for the phrase two button and the phrase three button. That will solve your problem.

  • @happiestflying I meant TEMPO SYNC, not Loop Sync above, sorry. Look for TEMPO SYNC and set it to OFF.

  • WOW... very informative as well as an impressive piece. I might have to upgrade from the RC-20XL now.

    T.

  • You need a distortion pedal. You can't use the distortion on your amplifier otherwise your drums get distortes as well.

  • Hi, how did you get distortion on your guitar and not have distortion on the drum loop at the same time?

  • Hi, how did you get distortion on your guitar and not on the drum loop?

  • Hi, how did you get distortion on your guitar and not on the drum loop?

  • I wonder, what kind of instruments can you use with this pedal? Only electric like guitar, or also brass instruments like trombones?

  • @Proximitus It has an input for a microphone, so the opportunities are endless.

  • Hello:) I love your video, but what is it that you play???? love it :P great rhythm. Gonna buy the boss rc50 soon:)

  • Hello! Congratulations on the video!

I have a question: You can configure the RC 50 to really drive things recorded by just pressing the pedal PHRASE 1, 2 and 3 or ever need to select the phrase and press play / rec to hear what is recorded? Thanks!

  • great job. thanks for taking the time.
