haha I rmember when I was in middle school (grisson in tinley park, il) ages ago they had one of these on the first story roof. if you were in the second story library there was a window where the 1000T would be pointing at you eye level at about 50ft.

I used to wonder why they didn't choose the highest roof for it.

@Siren1000T1 -My town had a Thunderbolt 1000t but got replaced by a Whelen Vortex. A few others got replaced by 2001DC's. It's just not the same. Sirens are supposed to sound scary, the t-bolt 1000t did just that. The 2001 DC's are just too boring.
