Really good video, I'm a railway newbie (Christmas) with only a basic Trakmat, but I've just bought the Bachmann Class 150 DCC fitted and love it! Your video is very professional, what the music?
@drusus69 Thanks mate :) ...and even bigger thanks for seeing fit to subscribe; always makes what I do seem much more worthwhile.
The music is random music I chose which seemed to fit the video (not really my taste...lol), I believe it's details are listed under the video.
Welcome to the hobby and I have several more video's already lined up in the near future. I am getting through reviews and things then will be back to this sort of thing.
@sinchydogtrainz Tha's a HUGE question. Depends whether you like steam, diesel or electric and prefer passenger or frieght or one that does both???
If you want "cheaper", in general Hornby do really good locos but (in my OWN opinion) I prefer thequality of Bachmann. I don't think Heljan or ViTrains would be a good starter but again both make superb models. I can't really answer your question but if you can provide more info on what you are looking for, PM me and I'll try help.
@ImagemakerUK hi mate tell him that hornby is probs the best to start on but if he feels up to it bachmann i also agree with you bachmann are great detailed model recomend them when to anyone for there detail also realy good video
@TheHornby153 Well welcome to the world of model rail. It is very infectious but a great pass-time. Yes' the Bachmann 150 really is a sweet DMU and reliable runner. I look forward toyour video (be sure send me a PM when you have it done).
I will be posting more video's again but in the New Year.
@ImagemakerUK - Dave, good video as always, I'm really liking the saltire class 37 plus your new asda and malcolm intermodals :-) these are on my shopping list somewhere though I'm currently saving for new editing software and some Buxton lime JGA hoppers plus another class 60 :-) have you ever considered a EWS class 08 mate? :-)
@Class66Rocks Thanks Ian, no I haven't considered an 08 in those colours simply because I have never actually seen one. Hence my ignorance as to where they are or were based, if ever, stops me. Maybe if and when I actually see one...
@mongoosekid14 Cheers Ryan. I don't think it's quite so good as last but that's only my opinion because I thought the loco's suited the style and sountrack a wee bit better than in this.
@OOgaugeAlex Thanks Alex. I thought the music was a nice wee change...lol. I have summat more my own style liend up for next time and can see that choice not being to everyone's taste...lol...but I like it. Only hope it fits well. I'll see.
@martian953 Thanks mate. The 108 did make a brief appearance but I have been having a few wee annoying niggles with it which I've not had time to look at. I'll have to try sort it out because I like that DMU better than the 150 to be honest.
