What I don't understand is I thought the Republican's said that they needed the "tax cuts on the wealthy" to create jobs. But they have had the tax cuts since the Bush era, and still unemployment rises or stays up and stagnant. So what exactly are the tax cuts doing, except making the country lose revenue? Am I missing something or is it working and I'm just not seeing it? Same with the tax breaks to big corps, they get the cuts but still don't make a dent in unemployment.

NOW insurance companies have to spend 80 to 85 % on your healthcare instead of the 12 to 25 % they were paying or they have to give you a REFUND or lower your rates if they are overcharging you.

What I don't understand is I thought the Republican's said that they needed the "tax cuts on the wealthy" to create jobs. But they have had the tax cuts since the Bush era, and still unemployment rises or stays up and stagnant. So what exactly are the tax cuts doing, except making the country lose revenue? Am I missing something or is it working and I'm just not seeing it? Same with the tax breaks to big corps, they get the cuts but still don't make a dent in unemployment.

And here is another TRUE FACT for small gov solves everthing whiners. What we actually have now is the lowest percentage employed by the government since August 1988. It is not a huge decline relative to recent experience (the average since 1/80 is 7.23%, and since 1/00 it is 7.37%), however it is hard to make the case that government has recently become too big and bloated when its employee headcount is the lowest share of the population in nearly a quarter century.

@Athruebelief What disappointed me the most regarding the right in congress was when they pretended to support S. 3816 and some of them even tricked their constituents sending out emails saying how badly it was needed how much they supported it and then at the very last minute all voting no and killing the bill. This bill would have reduced tax breaks to corps that outsource given new tax cuts to corps that hire American workers and would have greatly improved unemployment numbers.

The US Army has the Military Police, Military Police Investigators, Drug Suppression Team, Special Response Team, and Criminal Investigation Division. Also the FBI can be called in. Another one estimates that 90% of all the rapes do not get reported, despite supposedly easier ways to report the crime with confidentiality since 2005. Either way, this appears to be an epidemic that needs to be dealt with.

@Cowboygirl10 Not emotional common sense. does not make sense to pay insurance companies so that they can pay 12 to 24 million a year to ceo's just to find new ways to get out of paying for the healthcare that consumers were paying them to cover. NOW insurance companies have to spend 80 to 85 % on your healthcare instead of the 12 to 25 % they were paying or they have to give you a REFUND or lower your rates if they are overcharging you.

@MrOne4truth Would not have gotten that if it was not for the democrats. republicans wanted to stop unemployment, many republicans want to do away with SS and medicare also, proposed cutting education funding by 20% which would mean less help for college tuitions. Republicans want to do away with unions because they are the only thing that keeps wages at middle income rates so that everyone has to work for poverty wages like in right-to-work non union states.
