Well, I'd like to ask you, I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks and I'd like to do this hairstyle, but I have a problem, my forehead is way too big haha... So, I'd like using this hairstyle with bangs, do you think this would be ok? And also, I'm using a black&white dress, what do you recommend me for makeup?

I think the fringe shouldn't be a problem, and as far as your makeup is concerned, I'd recommend either classic Old Hollywood makeup with highlighted lids and accentuated eyeliner, or smokey eyes with a nude lipstick look which is so stylish these days :) Have fun! @Luisette007 I totally love red lipstick too :) I think you can definitely wear it if you go for the Old Hollywood makeup. In case of the smoky eyes I'd rather recommend a nude lipstick. You can try both and see for yourself what you prefer! The most important is that you *feel* comfortable and confident wearing the look of you choice and enjoy your time at the wedding! :) So have fun! X

@4205smr well, I guess having layers offers opportunities for different hairstyles. when I used to have my hair layered I was mainly focusing on curling it - I loved how shorter layers of hair would be going higher up (and staying there!). Plus once you have curled your hair, I think it's quite easy to shape it into loose buns etc. Messy and loose hairstyles being the most trendy these days, there's not much you have to worry about :)

@4205smr thanks :) I'm just trying to give some ideas that you could adapt for your length of hair - I saw this particular bun on girls with much shorter hair and it looked just great - the bun was smaller, but who cares, haha! plus once you add an accessory, like a flower, your hair has no way to look anything but gorgeous... haha....

@Arallist aww thank you :) See, I've participated in many hair shows and witnessed so many techniques and hairstyles done that I finally figured out that there are "building blocks" in every hairstyle, like in lego :) Then you need just a couple of building blocks/techniques and use them to "contruct" a huge variety of new styles. Of course, sometimes you do see new things that make you say WOW too :) Next Monday I'm actually going for a makeup show, so excited to see what they'll create!
