Ron left because he couldn't handle Dave's violent behavior. Dave poured a whole beer down Ron's bass once. And when Ron came home and plugged in the bass, it shocked the living shit out of him. So he told James that they had to take all of their stuff out of his garage. And then the rest of the band where off to San Fransisco, and Ron was out.
