wow you just made me feel really good because ive been growing my hair out for about three months and it looks exacally just like yours at like 0.29 im known as the curly afro kid. i was really happy to see how yoor hair turned out when it got longer around 1.00 =D
Since you went natural have you straightened your hair with a flat iron? Just wanted to know b/c I wanna go natural but I dont know if flat ironing it will damage it, I've heard some other african american women saying that. But im biracial too and my hair is more like yours and a lil more curly than kinky.
Oh I luv your hair!! I wish I was brave like you to go natural. My hair is so damaged from dying and chemical hair straightners. I know it would look so amazing if I cut it and started it over. Your hair looks so beautiful. Even the shorter hair you rocked that style.
One question how long did it take you to grow your hair shoulder length?
What is your favorite Deep Conditioner and Moisturizing Shampoo (every shampoo I try seems to dry my hair)? I did my big Chop in Sept & none of my old Conditioner's seem to Moisturize my hair good enough. I have 3c type hair, very curly. It seems as if my natural hair is dryer then when it was permed.
your hair looks great, Im in the process of going natural too. I have been transitoning for 14 months now. How long did you transition before you did your BC?
Bi-Racial People are a superior people. Not because of how they look or that are genetically superior, but because they are products color blind individuals that have offered the world a glimpse into the future of unity. They stand out as representatives of clearer thinking and a higher moral standard. Bi racial people are beacons of hope, albeit not because they have chosen to be but because the human race is finally breaking beyond set boundaries and eliminating race as divided up culture.
I think most people, if not ALL african-Americans are indeed biracial ---if you go bac far enough in time--- How great would it be to get our family trees mapped out???
??? My response was to foolish237 who proclaimed that biracial people are superior. I was merely pointing out that the world is messed up indeed despite people being multiracial. My family tree is already mapped out. You can see my profile...if I'm an Indian, I'm certainly mixed.
You are sooooo beautiful; the Bible teaches us in the book of Enoch which is a book in the Ethiopian Bible but removed from the KJV, that Noah was born albino and that he passed his albinoism to his son Japhet who became the father of the Gentiles (Europeans); however Noah's two other sons Ham and Shem were black; so black people produce black and albino (white) children but white folk produce only white children because of their recessive gene..white people are nothing more than albinos.
Hey girl, i just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful! Hair doesn't make the person. I am the mother of 3 (one in heavan) beautiful biracial children and in my oppinion, biracial people are some of the most beatiful and unique people in the world. Your hair is beautiful in every way. Hold your head high aand don't let anyone ever tell you different. Peace.
Child, you are blessed and you don't realize it. You are beautiful and when God made you, he made you with love and the hair on your head was made especially for you. There are many people (including myself!) that at some point hates their hair. I have worn my hair relaxed since i was 13. I went natural last year Dec 2007 and i discovered how beautiful my hair really was. Embrace your texture and learn how to work with it, not against it. I know in time you will love the hair on your head :)
no one should be giving you a negative on your comment. You are only 12!!!! At 12 none of us knew what we wanted to do with our hair. A lot on women who are goign natural (including me) have made that decision as adults. You will soon love your hair. Just ask God to help you embrace who He has made you to be and to help you better manage/take care of your hair. God bless!
i was replying to a comment before yours- telling her that she will soon understand her hair as she gets older. I hope that I didn't offend you thinking I was referring to you. God bless!
the last time I got my ends cut was on last august. Which she cut 4 inches off. So I am really really really do for another, and it is going to happen in less then two weeks. but normally it would be every 4 months
wow, do u know any products that help with frizz? my hair is wavy, there r no wavy black people youtubers! my hair type is so unsual, if u kno anything bout this pleease help! thanks
sweetheart I am working on it... right now i am going with te BIOSILK hairserum.... but Ihave not found it yet. I know they are avail in beauty salons at jcpenny. I will let you know how it turns out.. ;-)
Love the ponytail pic, thats my inspiration cant wait till my hair gets that long. How long did it take you to be able to wear a pony? Just started transitioning 2 months ago. Thanks for the video
to be honest I think that when you go naturl and you dont have a perm, your hair can grow naturally without all of the chemicas in it. Granted I coloured i a few times but, thats not as bad as a perm or relaxer. Relaxers also have hormones in it, I bet no one knew that! lol
girl, I looooovvvveeed it short, but my face is a bit filled out now, it wont look as sexy, i need to loose a few lbs before I go back there again...lol
that pony tail puff was last year around aug sometime... I cut my hair may of 2004, this may will be 4 years... wow I cannot beleive it!! I have been natural awhile now...
You never needed relaxer. :-) By the way, I recommend that mousse. Can you believe I didn't have to wash my curls for 3 days? It kept my curls from being frizzy even when wearing it loose in bed. Only thing is it gets crunchy (even though it has no alcohol). When hair is fully dry, gently de-crunch the curls by squeezing them. You will love the definition and hold.
hey bridge... which mousse where you refering to? I couldnt do that, leave my hair out...no way... you saw the hair i had...lol... I did have a great hair day tday by the way...lol
your hair is very cute!
at 1:44 what color is that in your hair?
